man oh man brings back many a memory, I was thinking the other day just "How Simple Life WAS" back then.
No knives, guns and Gangs in High schools or Elementary Schools for that matter. back in the DAY, you had to go
to school, we may not have always liked it but when there was a Fight it was two people in the back of the Gym, whatever
no GUNS, NO KNIVES.
Going to School in my teens were by FAR the Best days of my life. Their was no AIDS, NO Hep C, no STD's to speak of, well at my School.
My Girlfriend was on the Pill @ 15 years of age, I was in ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!!

We didn't have texting, Cell-phones, all that CRAP, Ipods, Yada, Yada, Yada!!
We had Rotary Dial Phones in Bright Colors!! We rented from Ma Bell. As kids we played outside in the SUN, never inside, you didn't have to be into Sports but
most were. I lifted Weights myself. Our Roller skates had Keys, and were steel. The Heaviest Drugs I did in High school was POT and LSD (not much SID)
We Drank in High School, sure, on the weekends, nobody took Booze to School. However in my case both my Parents were Teachers. So I had to pull the line.
My first car, I bought, 75 bucks, 1960 Mercury Monterey, a DAMN Boat, but I bought it from my Latin Teacher (connections) . later I went to College. But always worked from age 15.
It was a Great Time. I missed Vietnam by a Butt hair. In '73 that was the end of the WAR and the Draft. Thank GOD!! I loved Roll and Roll always, the first time I heard
Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelins Communication Breakdown, I knew ROCK and ROLL was for me!! Oh and my 5 older Brothers, and their Music, Buddy Holly and Such.
My LORD I MISS THOSE DAZE!! and I miss my
Black Light!! Dammit!!
This CAR had a 1/4 Steel Body, I swear!!

BlueThose were the Best of times....
