you do know you can from [p] to game mission what ever it is- if you click on it [mission] it will give you the arrow to follow- on most missions any way- not all but most- more like main missions- some of the side type stuff dont have the arrow..

um all the stalker games are system hogs. i get low frame rates and stutter too. but if i add this 4 gig mem kit will help some but not a lot.. it will take a patch or 2 or a few mods to tame this beast and make it perform better.. and too- as i said last post- im still tweaking it- i hope the tweak guides guy makes 1 for cop. its a few places fps drop into single digits- if it stays 25fps and above its not bad. most of the time im between 25 to 50 or so.. running the recorder it can dip too- but even with out the recorder it can drop into single digits- and i dont have my settings maxed out either- my general is high and enhanced dynamic but other sliders are tweaked back some. sun and rays and shadow dis on medium. aa about 1/3 and af about 2 or 3 clicks. its some settings- i dont know what they are for.

im more talking chit. i do like the game. but gees.. will they ever get it right? i know it will get better the more i play and learn.. im glad to have it.. i will spend a many of hours days and months playing it.. maybe we will get some nice mods.. im just being me- and my un bias review or opinions

i will say again tho- any 1 that has never played stalker games- this would be hard and very complicated for them- hell it is for me.. i just love the super fan boy reviews- cop is the best game since butter bull chit-- gees i hate them people.. they must get paid to write such great reviews and cop is perfect what ever-- its far from it..

ha ha ts writing super great reviews for cop and has not even played it. never played cs either- he still has not finished his first game of soc after 3 years now. ha ha

some of the birds fly pass close by are so big they are spooky- they are as big as lil airplanes ha ha..>



it is pretty tho- i turn the grass slider down to off- that helps performance a lil too- and is more easy to see guns what ever on the ground. you cant see or tell in my screens- but the water is pretty too..>

game time.. i will be a few more days hunting under every rock and doing missions in this first level.. i think i will drop to normal full dynamic lighting from enhanced and see if that helps a lil- i will try and set it up like i did soc and priboi story mod- that or those videos was with this fatal1ty system. my system and or vid card dont have as much ass as some of you others systems- a nv 260 or 275 would be sweet. so maybe i will run a lil better if i set up just like soc and priboi etc.. i need to run around 30fps constantly to make my video play though and not have lag while playing and recording.. so. test test test

ah he does have it and he is playing it but he says he hasnt been to pripyat yet. he say hes having to much fun playing in the 1st 2 zone so far.

well to be fair. i need to retract a lil of my past post..

i figured out how to do the repairs.. it is a button that says repair under the repair guys name.. i thought that was just part of the picture or gui- i did not know it was an actual button top right where his name is.. so thats cool. i can 1x pay and my thing is made new- all the other stuff is just optional upgrades. if the repair guys has the tools or skills etc..

anyway.. im almost ready to leave the first map.. oh ya.. i dropped to full dynamic lighting from enhanced - my game runs a lil better- but still gets the slowdown or freeze from time to time-- it dont freeze long- and i have not had a crash yet..

so.. im liken cop.. it is still a bit hard or has a high learning curve and would be hard on some1 who has never played stalker games.. i bought a suit and sniper gun from nimble- how all of snags guys are on the run.. im still trying to find the second key- i have key b to gas the sucker faces.. i cant find key a though.. i just killed the chimbra what ever its called..

now if i could just remember to save i will not have to play areas over again.. ha ha

well if you do buy from nimble is to remember 1 thing and that is to just keep the weapons that have names to them. since they are the 1 that have special powers to them of sorts. right now i have a little mp5 but it fire .45 cal ammo and the thing is wicked !!

with 3 clips of ammo i can take down a chimera or any other creature in the zone and i even have a silencer on i to boot. but i do have it fully upgraded as well.

i went threw all of his but right now i am waiting on him to bring me a armor suite. but he has not moved from his seat in the last few days and if he would ever go outside i think i would kill him for making me wait this long !!! since i kill all bandits,mercs, zombies, monoliths, and anyone else that shots at me or trys to kill me lol.

with what i carry i can but i do have a exo suite fully upgraded to.

COP looks like the Best so far of the Series SOC-Stalker. I have Clear Sky, but should have got this instead,

I never had issues with any of them crashing, well the 2 I have, just slow load times is all. I think Metro 2033 will be better than all

the Stalker games, maybe? Knock on wood. I love the new GUI in COP. I do get tired of guns breaking and the Back Pack limit thing, I know you can

change the limit etc. But it should be 100 Kilos, not 50. IMHO. The GFX look better in COP for sure, but not much. I guess you have to be a real Stalker fan to enjoy these games.

At ant rate I'm glad you guys like it, I'll wait for the Bargain bin prices myself, like 10 bucks. If I was into Stalker like you guys, I'd get it right away, but I want Mass Effect 2

wow Blue where did you get that pic from? since that is not what CoP looks like at all. there is no snow in it just grass and mud and a lot of rain rofl !!! but the stalker series has never ran all that great and there is a big reason why.

the xray.exe or xray engine is base of the dx8 and they have not updated it yet even though they have said they did but they really have not. just like CoP stating on the retail box that it supports multi cpus which it doesnt because when i run it only 1 cpu runs at all times!!

why they choice not to upgrade the exe to run on dx10 or dx11 fully? it is because of money... well thats what they say in the gsc forums i think it is BS!! gsc just wants more money so that is why i do what i do..

anyways back topic....

another thing that gsc failed to do is to have the dead creature disappear like the dead npc do. so after a while your game will drag down and down till it will crawl !!! like mine does right now in the 1st 2 zones !! i went from 60 - 80 fps to 12 - 25 fps right now all because they dont remove the dead creatures from the game world!

and that the game will only use 1 cpu core to boot even after doing the affinity core trick to the xray.exe it will help but not enough to over come the dead bodys build up!! they need to patch it so those are gone after 12hrs or less ! hell pripyat is now starting to lag/stutter for me now cause of all the dead blood suckers and rats laying around now!!

i think that was clear sky problem to as well since i did see dead bodys laying around there to since i did have stuttering but not like this 1 does this made SoC look good!! CoP stutters so bad my game at times will just up and stop for seconds at a time!!!

but now they say in the gsc forum that gsc will update the xray.exe for stalker2 , im like WTF!! why not now when clear sky came out since it need it then and so on. oh well i guess thats what i get for going to a game devs forum where there will be fan boys there but i dont back down since i will show proof since i can do more then walk the walk cause i can talk the talk !!

scavy.. thats a stock metro screen. you can get it at any site that talks about the game and has screen shots.. i dont know. metro could be more buggy than stalker games.. thq has rights but gsc pretty much made the engine etc. but maybe thq will put more time into tweaking and testing and have a better game.. we can only wait an see.. i do think id like to get metro 2033 someday..

ya cop can slow down. and id guess all the dead bodies laying around dont help.. i hate the fact my seva and exo suit have no nice blue night vision- well they have no night vision at all.. man that sucks.. most of the fun of soc was trying to get the seva suit or the 1 from duty just like it but a lil better.. but the blue night vision was boss..

this equipment upgrade system takes some getting use to to.. upgrade 1 thing it locks something else etc.. im doing a lot of the game out of order i guess.. i have been exploring and finding stuff what ever- and then later talk to the bots- ive already completed missions - i did not know- but i get paid for it- or other info or stashes open up.. im not trying to read a walk through.. but i did read to find the tools.. im just trying to learn the game really.. i will have to play it a few times to see what all does what.. and i think stalker cop has 4 ending. and depends on how you play or what you do is how the game ends.. like stalker soc- i guess..



im thinking in going to install my 4gig mem kit soon.. im almost thinking about putting my bfg 7800gtoc in my other pcie 16x slot. and use it for physx.. i think i can do it if i read right- nv new drives can do it..i dont think it has to be set up in sli or have to be the same type card. its best if 256bit and 256mem well i have that.. i guess i read right.. if it works that would help- then all of my vid card [88] can just push graphics.. with my 4gig mem kit- might help performance all the way around.. and i will be ready for bioshock2 and metro and or vegas what ever.. ya a nv 260 or 275 would be sweet- ha ha a all new system would be sweet too..



i bet the next nv vid cards will be sweet.. its not a tesla. the tesla is the cad base card.. but the new card is a lot lot the tesla from what i read.. most of what we read id fake stuff.. but nv will kick butt - and ya for a lil more money.. but stuff goes on sale later so..



guess i need to get borderlands and wolfenstein. being the combo hybrid fps/rpg games are my favorites.. i think stalker type games are the best ive played. very immersing.. take away the buggs. none of my other games are engrossing-- hl2 stalker and bioshock. just sucks you in. you are in the game world. fo3 was ok but not like the other 3.. stalker is more complicated dark deep. you feel like you are in the game. and its characters seem more real or alive.. add story sound and ambiance.. stalker games are cool.. the bugs and slowdowns what ever make them a pain in the butt. crashes what ever.. but it endears you to it- being you have to baby them along a lil.. i dont have clear sky.. i guess i should get it. its cheap.. but cop is pretty i think.. i wish i had a better system. or better vid card etc so i can up settings and make it more pretty..



oh ya. you have to pick fights to kill npcs bot.. bandits dont attack or nothing- ha ha - i walk up behind them- 2-3-4 of them what ever- and time their head bobs. and take my cool shot gun and try and blow off as many of their heads as i can with my first shot. and then fast kill the others.. finally in yantor some mercs have started to random attack me.. i started killing all bandits i see-- i might start killing freedom too.. ive been pretty much working with duty so.. but. i was hoping they would always attack me as a group all game.. i guess not..



its cool to stand back and watch the mutants fight kill or rat each other- and the bandits do attack other bots [stalkers] etc. its funny to see the game live and its characters fighting each other.. ut04 would do that too..

yeah your going to need that 4gigs soon since the more you kill creature the more lagy/stuttering it will get trust me on this 1. since zanton is so bad right now for i cant even get past 38 fps anymore now because of all of the dead bodys laying around now!!

gsc needs to get there dam act together that is for sure and i beat they where only thinking of the mp of the game when they thought of the time table for how long dead bodys stay around to... and yanov which is the 2nd zone you go to it to has so many dead bodys laying around for me it stutters really bad as well.

and right now pripyat is not that bad yet but it is getting that way since i keep killing those dam rats ans pydogs and bloodsuckers!!! since i now moved to pripyat as my main HQ now. since i can make a lot of money there lol since there is a lot of zombies and mercs and monoliths there.

and there is this building if you ever ran the cop benchmark it is the 6 story building in it and it is the service center and that seems to be where all converge on to and try to keep it. so i go there every day and even at night time. lol it seems i dont get shot up at night at all they dont see me at all or hear me.

i have the Frasier which is mp5 modified to fire .45 cal and i upgraded it to the max and i have a silencer on it and i got it from nimble back at zanton.so if you can afford to buy weapons from him since they will be the best you can get.

and i finally found 1 of these to increase my load limit


my stash box at pripyat since you can get stuff repair for free so yeah you make out like a bandit over all.

but yeah you can get nv for suite but not all of them can get it though.
i was perched on tp of the door way at the service center and i saw 3 mercs coming from the north

and then i saw 3 zombies coming from the east


but i waited till they all got closer before i took them all out man i love that Frasier it sure can kill anything even with the silencer on it!! i have taken down all of the big boys with it to!! and here is zanton and why it lags/stutters so bad for me right now and look at my fps in top right corner!!
