Battlefield Bad company 2/beta for now

Postby SCAVENGER1 » Sat Jan 30, 2010 8:06 pm

has anyone seen this 1 yet and or preorder this and or gotten into the beta ? right now i have i got the deluxe version which cost the same as the normal 1 did preorder and i am playing the beta all on PC right now for the last 2 1/2 days. so far in its beta stage right now it is better then mw2 i say even though i am not a fan of COD series at all.

but i am a fan of BF series though since i been playing since Vietnam,2,SF,2142 all on pc though. you can sign up for the beta here ( http://battlefieldbadcompany2.com/beta ) but if you preorder it you will get a email with a beta key so you wont have to wait for it at all and hope to get a key to play the beta.

i took a lot of screen of what the weapon in this game are and gadgets are and specializations as they call it. which are uploading right now and it is a lot of pictures so it will take a while to do so since bmp files are so big they take longer.

the game mode in the beta is called Rush and what it is in around about way is that 1 side protects the objectives from the attackers that parachute in which looks way cool. and dam near every thing can be blown apart to from trees to building and fences so watch out !!

Image

there is tanks and APC quad runners and choppers in this game which makes it a lot of fun but i have not tried the choppers yet the tanks are fun but with the add perks to make them work faster and suchlike reload extra armor and such you will get blown apart quick !!

and man the weapons in this game is wild to so far i rank up a bit and gotten 2 shot gun a pistol and assault rifle upgrades. just wish i had a dam scope to go with my rifle though ! dam iron sight sucks !! but the grande tube is cool which you get with the assault rifles which is good.

ill post the weapons and such when they are done loading

well i am getting use to it but it is a beta yet and needs work to it. but that is his opinion though does he like cod over bf series? if so that would be why. but anyways my me2 collectors edition just come in today. but i wont install it till i get me1 finish.

wow the hard cover book and metal cd case is great!!

back to topic:
the knife kills are the same as cod are which is lame i think they should not be so dam easy !! they should take more then 1 time to kill someone ya know! now if you use your melee on someone it is a instant kill/stab!! just lke cod mw/cod waw/ cod mw2

but i still have to use a dam clip to kill someone but they dont have to :shock: but i seen in the txt that someone caught someone cheating all ready WTF!!?? i just dont get it ?! it is a dam beta and they got to cheat at it ? just to make them self feel god cause they are that worthless in real life or what?

man if i got to that point i would eat a bullet before i cheated online. i got a lot more pic uploaded now and they are all the weapons they have so far.

Scavy~

The Game looks great to me!! It has a SP mode do you know anything about that, as in is it the run of the mill

play through the maps, with bots....or a Real full fledged SP game? That would ROCK!! Not interested if no SP

game worth it's salt. I'm posting a Preview from GameSpot where they used NV 3D vision. WOW they said it

is really sweet, I think 3D from NV will be the next big thing following the success in the theaters with 3D Movies

coming on strong now, IMAX really nailed it in Avatar the Movie. Lots of new 3D films scheduled for release very soon.

The BOX::

Battlefield Bad Company 2

Nice Again!!

From GameSpot::

=============================================================

GameSpot:: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/battl ... e=previews

We donned 3D glasses for an exclusive first hands-on with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the PC.

While the original Battlefield: Bad Company may have been a console exclusive, the sequel looks set to shine on the PC. During our visit to developer Dice
in Sweden, we talked to a dedicated PC team whose job it is to make this the definitive version, thanks to improvements such as 32-player multiplayer
(compared to 24 on the consoles), a menu system customised for mouse and keyboard, and support for 3D using Nvidia technology. Even better, we got
to put all of these features to the test thanks to an exclusive hands-on.

In this preview, we'll focus on the PC-specific elements of the game, so if you're new to the franchise or want details of the single-player game, make sure
you check out our preview from earlier in the week. Our time with Bad Company 2 was spent on a high-end PC, with the game running at 1920x1080 pixel
resolution and on max settings. Needless to say, it looked amazing, with extra details such as soft shadowing on character models, as well as an improved
frame rate over the console versions. Thankfully, though, you shouldn't need to remortgage your house to play Bad Company 2, as the team is keen to stress
the scalability of the technology with support for systems running DirectX 9 to DirectX 11.

In terms of multiplayer, Dice has been vocal about its support for custom servers. EA didn't miss a trick when it issued a press release highlighting Bad Company 2's
support for custom servers, just as Activision announced it would deny Modern Warfare 2 players this luxury. Dice assured us that everyone will be able to use its
servers in the PC version, but those who want to tweak away at the game's settings will be able to set up their own custom servers. Our demo took place across Dice's
local network, which allowed us to experience the PC's 32 player limit, which is six players more than the consoles' 24 player count. The six extra players may not sound
like a huge increase, especially when compared to previous Battlefield games which have had 64 player counts, but according to Bach, this is due to map sizes. The maps
in Bad Company 2 are built for cross-platform use, and because the console player count is traditionally smaller than on PC, the maps have to be built to fit.

Thankfully, this seems to be the only area where Bad Company 2 is hamstrung by its cross-platform development. If you're the owner of the latest audiovisual technologies,
then Bad Company 2 is going to offer the workout your system was built for. It supports Nvidia 3D Vision, so if you have a compatible graphics card and monitor, you'll be
able to take advantage right out of the box. If you've got a really high-end, money-is-no-object system, then Bad Company 2 also supports three monitor setups. The audio
has also been customized for the PC, with more bandwidth available for detailed effects. Bach explained how the new sound system has been built using decibel ratings for
each individual effect, so if footsteps are rated at 20dB, they'll get drowned out by a tank rolling past at a much higher rating.

We got to don the special glasses for a full 3D hands-on with the multiplayer, and we were impressed with what we saw. The sense of immersion was great, as long as you get
past marveling at the scenery and actually start shooting things. We also like the work that has been put into tweaking the menu system so that it works better on PC. More
information can be shown on a monitor than a TV, so you can customize your loadouts quickly and easily. This becomes more important the more time you spend in the game,
because you unlock more equipment and weapons as you progress.

Battlefield fans may remember that the original Bad Company never came out on the PC, so it's great to see that the sequel will be coming to the PC on the same day as the
console versions.
The beta will be coming out on January 28 or so, which should allow plenty of time to practise for the game's release on March 5 in Europe and March 2 in
the US. In the meantime, you can find out more about all versions of the game by watching the video interviews from our recent trip to Sweden.

============================================================

If the SP game is good and I trip over some money after it's been out for awhile, this game might be worth a strong LOOK.

Also, they had a separate TEAM do the PC version, so it's not a sloppy PORT job. It will run in DX9, DX10 r DX11!! I never bought

MW1 or 2 for that matter, I'm waiting for the 20 buck price range. I do have COD5 WAW, I love Nazi Zombie at the end, it's a h00t :D

From the vids I watched and the images, I've seen, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is going to do very well. I can't for the life of me

understand why they are cheating in the Beta, some hackers are gearing up to sell, Cheat Hack for the Game on the WEB, you can count on that!!

What a Shame!! :banghead: :rules:

Blue

When the Final version is released just change this threads name to Battlefield Bad Company 2, Simple Simon. :mrgreen:

right now the beta is all mp and just 1 map/game mode. so sp questions are up in the air till march 2010...

but if it is anything like the other BF series it will have bots you will fight against and fight with you that are smart as a box of rocks !!

but who know they may have given them some marbles here and there lol but i finally got in a server with players that wanted to play as a team since it is the only way to win!!

and i rank up to corporal 1st class but no unlocks yet which will be active armor for the tanks but i really havent been in them thought. been playing assault all this time since i got the F2000 now and a few other items like extra grenades/40mm so i can make things go BOOM!!

no it has a key that you get when you sing up for it to be a beta tester. but the beta testing is about over now feb 25. i just hope they do fix the stuff that is wrong with it like balancing of the kits/weapons.

right now the assault class is way out gun by everyone right now which it shouldnt be and pistol get 1 shot kills way to easy as well. and the grenades are a hit and miss but not for everyone it seems. since most of mine would go boom and not kill but everyones else would so i think some must have figure out how to make there work all the time before EA fix it.

and for me it seem the load times where long cause by the time i got in most where all ready playing so i had to play catch up! which suck and i made sure i played on a server that was in my area like chicago which will be the lowest ping for me but still i would get in the last which was bs.

the 1 forum to post about the beta i cant get into it cause i have no login for it so i have no idea what the fk why i cant either so i ran the auto question to the site but i beat by the time they get around to it the game will be out.

not sure about DLC but if you get the limited edition you can get some nice unlocks all ready. the Thompson machine gun is ok but i dont care for it since it suck in the beta. but the tanks stuff is where it is at though.. but yeah i dont understand why people have to cheat either.. Blue it makes no since to me either.. i guess they are that worthless in real life.. must suck to be them uh?

well i like the "Rush" mode the best mode i like so far it is like "Titan" mode in bf2142 which was a lot of fun for me. but yeah the sp is a lot of fun and it puts all of cod sp to shame so far and i have played them all even mw2. and the gfx just rock hard core !!!
