Blue, I don't know if you remember, in Mass Effect, there were arrows on the sides where the resolutions show in the Graphics Options, to scroll. If you didn't look really carefully, you couldn't see them. Maybe the same thing here?

yeah your res should be there Blue since i play in 1680x1050 all the time with no problems. i got a screen shot of it for ya so you can see it is a drop down box as you can see here



it is a prety game to look at when your playing it and when it rains it is even more pretty since the water effects kick in.

It's all GOOD now after Patch v1.5.10 plus I run it @ 1900X1080 Now But thanks Fellas!!

Stalker Clear Sky is just as Buggy as the first game too, SOC. Takes way to long to load, I don't care what kind of set-up your running

it loads SLOW!! Plus all the Missions are on a Timer, I guess they wanted to push you through the game, and Hope you'd forget about it QUICK!!

To it's credit, however, the GFX are amazing!! Great, but worthless if it take so load to load. To bad they just can't figure out how to cut the FAT.

While maintaining the GFX Excellence. Plus there isn't Dork for Mods for it. So you have to deal with that lameASS Weight Limit and Broken, Jammed guns AGAIN!!

Sucks, for the most part, SOC has a Gang of Great MODS at least, making it the game to buy. Clear Sky just adds a bit more map, and GFX FX.

But it runs at least now. Out of the box, it makes a Good coaster. LOL!!

there is mods out for this game but it has been push for the mp side though really. and across the big pond that is where it is real big at still even in SoC yet is the mp server are at.

but like i said before in this thread somewhere the load times are bad like a few seconds and it does not matter what you are running either !! which is lame as heel!

but the weight limit is for reality i guess but with a mod you can tweak certain files so you can have more load limit .

but i do know where to look for such things since i do play it still and when ever i get around to it i will play SoC to. but i need to install it 1st but i got way to much on my plate right now to even do that.

really i shouldnt even be playing or posting since i got SSI forms to fill out again !! and get sent back to my SSI attorney but it takes me a while since i have to write it all down my hands go numb and hurt so i have to breaks to let them recover for a bit.

but anyways i only have 6 pages of crap to fill out and then there is income taxes to work on as well. which i will wait till next month to get around to it since i have to make sure i got all of my paper work and information before i even start out on it.

since if i dont get enough back on it i cant make my property tax for the yr

Your right I didn't look to hard for CS mods, so thanks, the Game SUX anyhow. I really don't see what folks see in it, runs ok once modded and patched at best.

LOL!! As I said before the load times are annoying as HELL!!. It is Pretty though another Sticker game that could have been nice if you like Stratagy games, is Universe at WAR.

I turned in my soda cans today been saving them forever got 83 bucks. What a mess though!! Pays off when you want a game and have not the funds though.



Has Cool Ass cut scenes, and the GFX are sweet for what it is, plus you can go to on the ground VIEW, then it goes back to overhead view. It was FREE with Aliens vs Predator (2010)

UAW is a GFWL game, I hate it when you buy it from Steam and it's GFWL too, which one does the patching, major ISSUE, IMHO, that NOBODY does anything to Correct!!

I was on like my 4th Mission in UAW, then it took a CRAP, and I lost all my saves. POS!!

yeah i got AVP preorder to and got that free gome as well. rofl there is a reason why it was free to ! lol it is not all that great i think but if you like it you like it i am not that great of a fan of those kinds of games anyways never have never will.

i am a fps player through and through and all ways will be to. i do like clear sky and yes the timer is short on some but hey after you finish the game a few times you learn when to rush to get the pop mission or not like i do lol. times i do them and times i dont cause if i dont i know i will have a lot of loot to pick over cause when i get there.

the enemy will be there so i will kill them and i will have there loot beside the good guys loot so its 2 fold for me lol. so i will have a lot of stuff to pick up and then i will have extra ammo and weapons which i will sell to make money with.

which is the name of the game well for me it is since i have started all over so i could play once again but oh well it wasnt the 1st time i have done that and it wont be the last time. the CoP may be a ok game i dont know havent tried it but from the benchmark looks cool though.

so i will give it a try when it gets out. but the only thing i hate about beside the dam load times is that some of the upgrades you have to look for are either can not be found or they are with the a faction you are at war with so you will never be able to get your weapon or armor fully upgrade at all.

i have not found a mod yet that fixes this game fault yet and yes i wish gsc would have stuck to there promice and finish the last patch for SoC like they said they would which they now have said they would not do since they have been woking on the cop game. fkin sob!!!

Your not missing out on much, with Universe at War, I try and keep an open mind, but like you FPS's are my cup of tea.

Funny though when I first played UAW, I did great, then I got worse, LOL!! It's pretty cool in some ways, but it's just like the

rest of those Strategy games, they are all the same I think, the besy was the Original STARCRAFT, maybe the second one is good as well.

Max Pyane3 is coming too!! I love those games. Just Cause 2, Metro, lots of great games coming. Gaming is a HUGE Industry, really.

Oh and UAW is a tad Buggy, it likes to crash. It was never coded right for Steam and GFWL, IMHO. They should have gave us the first Aliens vs Predator,

cheap Bastages, but now that the 2010 version is coming out all AvP games are selling again. Then there's Colonial Marines (AvP) game, not sure if it's

really going to come out? I played UAW for two Days and deleted it, rolol. Why would they release that crappy game with their new game?

Re-Installed Clear Sky and patched it to v10. Man it runs smooth as SILK now at Max Settings, or what I could adjust.

Version 10, Disables some GFX crap that was broken beyond repair when this game shipped. FUBR

But MAN does it look SWEET, now I want COP too, but I'm a Crappy Stalker, Erik and Scavy are the Best at this game.

Me, man it kills me a LOT!! I just have to stick with it, but I'm all over the place game wise so, that's hard for me

Boy is it Pretty though, WOW the detail is amazing!!









Anyhow, I may Hack some files to carry more etc., this game is HARD

You can find this game Hella cheap now. TS used to really look forward to it back in the day. It looks just

like SOC to me, but the GFX are a bit better they use the X-ray 1.5 Engine on it, then I think COP uses the 2.0 x-ray engine.

I waited forever for them to get done patching CS, v10 is killer smooth running. No bog downs at all. In v10 it is also optimized to run on Win7 better.

But you can't go wrong with XP while it's still supported, which I think will be a long time, maybe not by MS, but by the mod community.

It'll be Open Source I think. One day. But really if you turn off all the bells and whistles in Win 7, it looks and runs just like XP. Even faster.

I've played CS for the last two days like crazy, yes I modded it a bit, I hate that slow down and stop crap, cuz my Stalker dude is Tired, come on

may be realistic, but to me it's highly annoying. That and getting killed when I'm in my PDA, sucks, I fixed the "I'm to tired to Move thing"

but still get killed using my PDA. Oh and the Bandits etc of course. In CS the Mechanic is in Town, base Camp of CS Faction, so he's always there to fix your favorite stuff!!

SOC the fix it up GUY was out in the Boonies CS has a Guide that you use, he has to take you everywhere long distance, pretty cool idea for fast travel.

CS gets Hella Dark too, I play all my games DARK to begin with, High Contrast. Never thought I'd get into CS, but I did!! Just like you'll get into Dead Space.
