Always fun when you have to reload your OS due to a virus infection. I have the Abit KN8-SLI board and need a windows xp driver for the built in chipset which should include LAN drivers as well as the built in realtek audio. The lovely Abit FTP appears to be down and i don't trust any other website atm for these drivers. The audio driver isn't that big a deal as i'm using a PCI audio card, but i definitely need the chipset driver. Any help?

Windows XP SP2 Do not connect unit to the internet without this installed.

nVidia 6.86 Chipset Drivers.

AVAST! Home Edition I do not know how many times we have posted Virus protections on this forum, but this one is free and works.

Audio is the Realtek ALC850, so if this on does not work ABIT HD driver connect to the internet and locate a driver.

Install everything in that order, before connecting to the internet and updating the OS, especially having the REALTEK driver installed prior.

avast is good

you can try clamwin also.

its an av for linux aka "clam" ported over to windows.

It has a small footprint and is pretty comprehensive
