I never played the original, but this looks like fun. I have either finished the other games I've been playing, (ME, FC2, FFOW, DreamKiller, Darkest of Days) waiting a patch (RFG) not good at (SH) or bored already (S8, L4D/ L4D2) With all that in mind, it should be worth $20? Been reading the Topics in the Steam Forums, the Dev's have a nice presence there (Croteam) answering questions and helping with problems. I decided to get the game. Downloading now! :9:

When you start the game, head down the ramp near where you teleport in, turn right and walk alongside the ramp until you reach a door (or doorway?) and go inside/open the door if there is one. Assuming they kept all of the game secret areas (and there's a truckload of them) the same, there's a nice surprise in there :D

The great part about this game is that other than the secret areas it doesn't require much brain power to solve the puzzles, just alot of firepower. Sometimes you'll walk into a wide open room and there'll be one tiny amount of health in the middle and a locked door on the other side. You know exactly what's going to happen when you pick up that health, but you have no choice.

It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.

LOL, I've already heard that one. Since I'm a wussy, I'm playing it on Normal first run thru. Didn't find even one of the secrets in the first level. Only 2 in the second, maybe 2 so far in the third. I suppose I could look for a walk thru, but that's almost like cheating 8-)

And I know what you mean, when you pick up ammo or health, there's a reason it's there! Lock and Load! They are saying that the co-op online is great fun, there aren't any dedicated servers but a few guys from the Steam Forums have set up their own servers. I may have to try it out! :ugeek:

Definitely go back and re-do the first level to find the secret I mentioned, it's not just a bunch of ammo or health, it's a special one. ;)

Beautiful game, they did such a great job updating it. I usually get 100+ frames per second unless there's a lot of action, then it could drop to 50 or 60fps. But it never crashes, runs smooth as melted butter.

Wow, what an ending! :blackeye: :club: :Arrgghh: Finished it on Wuss Mode, now I can go thru on Serious Mode. Seriously. 9 hours isn't bad for a $20 game. Thanks to Blue for pointing it out! :9:
