oh ok Chris and yes i did install it though.

and wow that is a big difference between the 2 date to. a lot of info missing from 1 month to the other. uhm no wonder it took a long time to install

Well, now that you said that one Unpacks.....Look at the Icons that Windows XP assigneds also.

But, if you installed the MARCH 2009, that is what I am trying to tell you.....It is missing more than just the AUGUST 2009 Update....

Mayhaps you have Pictures that do not load with Firefox? If so, enable them and check my last two posts.

The one on the left is the one that I downloaded. "Self Extractor" ;) But the stupid thing asks you where you want to unpack the files to. Then you have to find the Installer and run it.
which is stupid for MS to do.

And, since this Win 7 was just installed in August when it went RTM, It should have had March's DirectX in already. Chris

yes thats true that it ask you where you want it to extract the file to. so i make a folder just for it and then this is what i see. and i put the file that i down loaded into the folder as well so you can see them to. they say march and september but what i click on was the setup.exe file which ran and took a while to run and install
