Postby SCAVENGER1 » Tue Sep 08, 2009 3:55 pm

Found this one on Laptopvideo2go.com. nv_whql.inf supports all mobile and desktop chips.

vista/7 32bit --> http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/ ... it-nvidia/

vista/7 64bit --> http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/ ... it-nvidia/

i have not tried these my self but i might just do it here today yet. but i have to get ready for court. but afterwards i will give these a go.

ok since the mod inf from laptop doesnt seem to work all to well for me. i have no temp reading with everest or precision tune or anything else for that matter. but someone stated that the driver from uguru does work and the temp for the gpu does show up.

so i will post those link here

ForceWare 168.91 WHQL Win 7 | Vista (32-bit) http://downloads.guru3d.com/ForceWare-1 ... -2365.html

ForceWare 168.91 WHQL Win 7 | Vista (64-bit) http://downloads.guru3d.com/ForceWare-1 ... -2366.html

i will now give these a go and see if they work or not with the gpu temp showing or not. i will report back

well the uguru driver version still doesnt let me see my gpu temp yet. maybe there is a problem with the and my 285? not sure but it seems to be since other over at evga are liking this driver and at tweakforce some say L4D seems to run a lot smoother as well.

so i dont know what to do now it would be nice to be able to see my gpu temp threw everest or PT. gpuz does show it but it is the only thing that will at this point.

but WOW what i am seeing in vantage right now is wicked assume, like during the 2nd gpu test in the asteroid field there is a lot of dust in it now as before there was not. OMG man i want the gpu temp thing to be fix cause wow i cant wait to try it out in games !!

So Precision Tool doesn't display the temp? Does it still control the fan speed? I may give these a try since I'm really not happy with the 190.xx's at all. :( Chris.

rivatuner and PT still control the fan speed but either 1 will not see the temp. so i am at a lost here. over at evga forum some other that do have the 285 say that it does work with there so i have no clue whats up.

O.K., I'm gonna try it later and see if PT works with my GTX260 then it's a specific bug for the 285's.

Oh, and the second set of links you posted don't work. ;) Chris.

Oh, god, these drivers are awful! The colors on the screen are like way way way too high! Everything looks like it's over saturated. So I reinstalled the 190.38's and color is still over saturated. Now I'm gonna have to do a clean sweep. Plus, it didn't help Frontlines at all. Sad with that game, I love playing it so much. Crap. I gotta take a nap so I can work all night. Lates! Chris.

O.K., these drivers messed with the "Digital Brilliance" for the Desktop, so I had to turn it way down back to where I like it. But I have already gone back to the 190.38's. These drivers made no difference in Frontlines anyways. Wish to hell I could figure out what's going on with that game. :( :cry:
