All I can say is wow. No, it's not the old Trek, it's when they were all young, and it's totally great! I loved it! Worth seeing again, on the big screen. The cast is perfect. I hope it does well so they can continue with plans to make a trilogy. Chris.

Scraping money together that we don't have and talked my Wife into seeing this after reading the reviews. I thought it was going to bomb, but every single review I read is stellar. 4-5 stars from Variety, Rolling Stone, New Yort Times, LA Times, every single one. Was a huge Trekkie as a kid. Way back when when VCR's just showed up and costed a fortune, movies were $70 if you could afford one. I recorded each show on Audio Cassette off the TV. As I got older though, I got over it for the most part. Then my interest was renewed with the Next-Gen series, not so much the movies except for the first. It Didn't help that they killed off Kirk either. Now I'll be taking my son who has watched some of the movies and has seen the original series as well and likes it. Can't wait to go.

Might try and see Star Trek tomorrow!! Sowing just up the Street!! Afternoon Cheapest, time,

even the best flicks their might be maybe 20 folks there, gotta love that!! Suggled in some Red vines, LOL!!

I to saw them all, the originals, then I saw all the films with the original crew, well most of them. I also watched Voyager

a lot on the Tube. The Enterprise is another Star Trek TV series on the Sci-Fi Channel, it's great too!! Love Sci-Fi and Horror

films the mostly, the I love animated flicks too like WALL-E, man that flick Rocks!! I also Love the Transporter Flicks!!

Stuff like that. Wolverine was Great as well!!

The sexual content is very brief. It's where Kirk is on top of a green alien girl, but there is no nudity, he's got shorts on and she has a bra and panties, really the same as a bikini. Uhuhu enters the room and she starts dis- robing, but again it's a bra and panties. That's it for the whole movie and it's towards the beginning. There is some kissing between Uhuru and another crew member later on (I'm trying not to give away too much ;) ) I don't think it's really that bad for kids the ages of yours, they probably see worse on TV. Chris.

Yep, I sure did. Almost dropped my soda when I heard the voice (couldn't see the face at first but the voice is unmistakeable) Then the pull away shot of the Twin Towers sent chills up my spine. JJ is a really great director. Great series (Fringe) and great movie (Trek) I sure hope they will do a trilogy as several of the reviews of this movie say they are planning. Chris.

WOW HJ!! THAT'S HELLA COOL!!

I love it, very cool looking, and yes Wall-E is one of my favorite films!!

I just saw::

Terminator Salvation

Image

Image

Yesterday, Great movie, but nowhere near as Good as Star Trek, some very good scenes in it. "TS"'

Though it reminds me of Mad Max, kinda with new FX. Plus the color pallet seems like it's Sepia and white.

Brown and White, sorta, hard to explain. Christian Bale was good in Batman "The Dark Knight" but as John Conner

er, no. I mean he did ok, but his voice is just so Damn Boring. He over acts at being a Crappy Actor, LOL!!

However the others in the film are very good. It's worth Seeing for sure, but not what I expected, is all.

Here's a Mega Link for the Film:: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&ei=_K0lSsO ... mZ_-PL2Zjc

I guess I was spoiled after seeing Star Trek, pretty MUCH. Now that film RULEZ!!

Having said all that, it's still worth seeing and has some COOL surprises in it.

It was well worth the 6 bucks I spent to see it. :D

Blue

It's a 3 star Film, Star Trek is 5. IMHO.

The Film is hard to rate. :Clueless: The game SUX, the Movie is ok.

Honetly, I think the Cat of the Sahra Conner Chronicles would have been better, they canceled that show though,

I only realy liked two Sows on TV, the SCC and Breaking Bad, I think Breaking Bad may not be back either?

I watched I think the final Episode Sunday Evening. They had no previews of the next Season, if there is one?

Too Bad, reality TV has taken over the TV today, cheap, crap. So the Sci-Fi Channel is my only hope, and FEAR.net.

I saw Hancock again on Demand, Loved that Flick!!

Image

This one is worth a Rent. or whatever!! :P

Look what's Coming Next!! :yahoo:

Image

Or Terminator 4!!

Re: Let's go to the Movies! Mask

Postby BlueMonster » Mon Jun 29, 2009 11:43 pm

Boy I watching this movie am I had forgot how good it is!! Not the Mask with Jim Carry, though it was pretty cool'

This is the one with Cher about her and her son Rocky whom is disfigured horribly. Like the Elephant man I think he

has the same disease in the film. What a TEAR JERKER film, but excellent, Cher did a great job in it and Sam Elliott.

Image

Eric Stoltz is Awesome as Rocky. Had me all choked up!!

 :cray:
