So in 14 years the drives will actually be cheap enough that us poor consumers could actually buy one. Chris.

Well then the next obvious question is how much for the blank disk? Chris.

$89.56 at Best Buy... :9:

Good reporting there HJ

The price of the Drive itself isn't that bad, I guess. But Within Ten Years, did I read that right?

Hell by then you'd think SSD HDD's will be around that size as well? Or is that impossible, no

we can put a man on the moon, right??

So IMHO, if SSD drives, get Cheap and HUGE by then, who needs these Monster Disks??

Also.... better not rip Coasters. Burn Coasters, you guys get my Drift aye?

Kinda costly. I guess there's a market for these mammoth Disks, which is Movies, Ripped from Netflix.

Illegally. A guy could have Movies for the everyone for sale, on one Disk, sell them and so on. Or what?

Or for the family, but then it's legal to Burn a Back-Up disk if you Bought the Movie, I think?

Anyhow, I guess this is great news for people whom love Burning Disks. That and have deep pockets.

Blue

Sounds Cool but costly. Personally I never Burn movies anyhow, pain in the Butt, IMHO. :Bananas:

Edit: On a side note another Awesome sig and Avatar HJ!! ;)
