Snack chips I miss.

Talk about anything here

Snack chips I miss.

Postby Greybear » Fri Nov 28, 2008 7:30 pm

So I was sitting there at lunch thinking these Wavy Lays with Ranch were good :D

But then I got to thinking about Fritos w/Cool Ranch......Anyone seen these lately?

But then that got me thinking of Cornquitos....they were before Combos....and I loved the ones that were like a Salsa flavor, but that is not the flavor Im thinking just cant remember the flavor right now. Dorito used to have the same flavor on a chip and stopped selling it years ago. :? The B-----ds!

But then, what happened to Jalopena flavored Cheez-Whiz?

And if anyone knows someone at a PLANTERS packaging plant that can get me some Planter's dry roasted Sunflower Kernels, that would be great also.....Wally World discontinued carrying these 4 months back without a reason, granted I might have been the only one buying them, but when you only stock 6 at a time and I buy them, that should tell you to replace them.

Yeah, that is true...

I figured out the flaver of Cornquitos I loved, PICANTE!

For the better part of 1986 when living in Texas, my lunch consisted of a Can of DP, a bag of Picante Cornquitos and a quater change to play STAR WARS game.

Yup, taco flavored Doritos, used them as a topping when I made tamale pie. Also crunched them up and put them into a mix of chili flavored Top Ramen, with lots of pepper jack cheese, then used more chips to scoop up the ramen and eat it.

Now I'm hooked on Pringles. They don't get smooshed! But my all time fave has to be Sour Cream and Cheddar Ruffles.

I'll see if they have those Planters next time I go to the local Ralph's Super Store. Chris.

Depends on what the boat is made from; wood is kinda a smoky flavor, I haven't tried a metal or fiberglass boat. :? Chris.
