DirectX End-User Runtimes (August 2009)

I think you meant this, as yours was the Thank you page... :) And they do not appear to have released a September version yet.

Umm, it that DX 9 and DX10 or what? I need to reinstall DX10. Will either of those links get me there? Chris.

Wait, those links Scav and GB posted are for the SDK. I don't want a Source Development Kit. I just want to update DX10. Use HJ's link, that's the latest DirectX update. :?

Hate to mention this, but neither HJ, Scav, or myself have linked the SDK. Both state to ""review the DirectX SDK EULA.txt and DirectX Redist.txt files located in the license directory."" Which might be why you thought SDK.

But both are to small to be to be SDK. As these are the SDK versions:DirectX SDK (March 2009) and DirectX SDK (August 2009) And these files names are DxSDK_(mmmyy).exe for the SDK.

I should have been more specific. When I installed the file that I downloaded from the page you linked to, it called itself "DirectX August 2009 SDK" Have you tried installing it? Chris.

Here is something else that is odd about the two files.....

March on the Left, August on the right.........Look at what all is missing from the March update.

The Installer is what calls it the "DirectX August 2009 SDK". It also asks you where you want to unpack the files to. Kinda dumb. I did install it to see if it would have any effect on how Frontlines is running, because someone from the Steam Forums said he updated his DX10 and it cured his problem with the slowing down. But now I think that game may have another issue. Which I'm gonna post a question about elsewhere. ;) Chris.

BTW, I am using Firefox.
