Can the Cardinals do it?

Postby Mr. Chris » Sun Feb 01, 2009 8:47 am

Holy crap, my super sucky home town team (not necessarily my all time favorite team either) is actually gonna play in the Super Bowl. I may actually watch it, without the beer of course ;)

Still hard to believe that they came out of nowhere, with a crap record to get this chance in the Super Bowl. Hell yes, I'll be rooting for them, love to see them beat the Steelers. Will they pull off a win? Damn good chance, I'd say. Will I bet on them, hell no. Either way it looks to be a great match up. We'll see.

And of course there's gonna be all those cool Super Bowl commercials that cost mega $$$. Oh, cheerleaders, too. And of course, there have to be food, snacks and drinks. :9: Chris.

I'm from PA and I'm going with the Cardinals. They have to come out and start strong and score a couple of touchdowns.

I hope they can and I'm rooting for them as I always go for the underdog. Been a Mets Fan since 69' when my father took me to my first game so I think it started with that. I love the long-shots. Luckily I'm not a gambler. :D

Half time, and I think I'm in freaking shock. A 100 yard return on an interception for a touchdown. Oh My Fraking Gawd. :o  :? :x  Wow.

I think I need to use the bathroom. :P Chris.

Well I gotta say it was one hell of a game. Right down to the wire. But then all those penalties, and the Cards looked like they got tired, especially the defense. Great comeback and only lost by 4 points. Very exciting game. I'll bet all the neighbors here me yelling those lats 5 minutes. :P Chris.
