hey HJ we can only hope that it does. since i have nothing but trouble in vista 64bit and FO3 with the 181.20 and 185.20 drivers. i will get into vista and give this a try and see if it does help or not. even though i have been playing FO3 with the 181.20 driver in XP with no problems at all. and i just finish the main part of the story late last night. i got 1 of the 2 ending video in xfire but as i was doing the 2nd one the game crap out on me lol.

well so far in XP all went fine. and it is the 3rd fastest driver i have had on XP. well as far as 3DMARK06 goes that is, it is the 3rd fastest. games all went well and such.

right now i got it on the vista and running advantage. and then from there on a few more bench's and then some games. 1st 1 will be FO3 to see if it plays or not. ill report back later after im all done.

Edit:
well i tried 4 time to get advantage to run. it seem every time it got to the physicx test it did 2 things
it either crash the bench or blue screen my pc in vista. other then that it ran great even FO3 ran fine. did not tyr clear sky since i wanted to play some dx9 games so i went back to xp.

So this driver fixed FO3 in Vista? Could be it will fix Open GL in Win 7? I'll give it a try tomorrow and will report back. :geek: Chris.

as far as FO3 and vista 64bit. it is a go they work great together.. and they work well in xp 32bit as well. uhm i am kind of wishing that i put win7 on my back up rig now. instead of just reformatting it with xp 32bit now. but then again i do not know if win7 and raven shield work well together. since i do or can host a coop server for it yet. and also teamspeak as well. to bad any of yoy that have win7 install played that or use teamspeak and or host a server for it could let me know if all goes well with them..

but i do like this driver though.

yeah only thing that was change is that M$ sign it lol. the guy that does the modded nvidia driver said that was the only thing that is different from the beta to this 1. so im staying put with the XG181.22 on both OS

Well, hell, these new drivers are absolutely the best to run with Folding @ Home. Just awesome! Older drivers always had used one core of the CPU to run along with the GPU client. This new driver totally off loads the CPU so it's basically the card doing 100% of the work. Which means I can now run the SMP client on all 4 of my quad core rigs, along with the GPU client.

I know, what the hell am I talking about? The client is basically a program that runs on your PC, and runs a simulation of how proteins "fold" or in the case of a disease, "mis-fold" and since proteins are the building blocks of the human body, Stanford researchers hope that these simulations will help them to understand and cure the reasons why proteins mis-fold. There are 2 types of "clients" a GPU client and an SMP client. Oh and a single core client as well for all the peeps with those antique PC's  (just kidding) GPU client runs on the video card, and the SMP runs on the CPU. Being able to run both is a huge thing for me. This is really great! :9: :9: :9: :9: :9: Chris.
