Well, hell, these new drivers are absolutely the best to run with Folding @ Home. Just awesome! Older drivers always had used one core of the CPU to run along with the GPU client. This new driver totally off loads the CPU so it's basically the card doing 100% of the work. Which means I can now run the SMP client on all 4 of my quad core rigs, along with the GPU client.
I know, what the hell am I talking about? The client is basically a program that runs on your PC, and runs a simulation of how proteins "fold" or in the case of a disease, "mis-fold" and since proteins are the building blocks of the human body, Stanford researchers hope that these simulations will help them to understand and cure the reasons why proteins mis-fold. There are 2 types of "clients" a GPU client and an SMP client. Oh and a single core client as well for all the peeps with those antique PC's

(just kidding) GPU client runs on the video card, and the SMP runs on the CPU. Being able to run both is a huge thing for me. This is really great!
