All 18x release drivers so far have the same performance increases stated. I can't say I've noticed any of them, but my card doesn't really have the horsepower.

Boosts performance in numerous 3D applications. The following are some examples of improvements measured with Release 180 drivers vs. Release 178 drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings):

Your quote says release 180, not 181,so I guess you just typoed that ;)

I think I misunderstood what you were getting at earlier, but I get you now.

Well, the Temperature Monitoring and Fan Control in both the EVGA Precision Tool v1.4 and nTune are not available at all with this driver release. I had to revert to the 180.48 drivers to keep my card from becoming a BBQ grill (Folding runs the video card maxxed out 100% 24/7) :( I don't use Riva, I could never figure how to use that program, so I don't know about any issues there. Chris.

Ack, More Information! This was on rig #4 in my Signature, I installed a brand new 9800GT to replace the old 8800GTO that was in there. That's when I found these drivers, under XP and with that card, don't have the temp monitoring and fan control.

On rig #1, Vista SP2 and my EVGA GTX260, Precision Tool does work fine. My bad. Chris.
