you guys are too much.. im laughing so hard..

nice desk hj.. i kind of want to put my case on the floor.. or on some of the case wheel thingys.. but its so much dirt dust smoke and 7 cats hair around here.. it would need cleaning faster..

i have to move my room back around.. pop in my other sata drive into my kn8 install my oem xp sp3 see if i can get that running right.. then i will make some photos of both of my rigs.. hmm maybe i should start on it in the next day or so. because in the next week or 2 i will have my buds kn8 i built for him [ twister ] to clean and re install xp.. he found his $285 buck retail xp disc after looking for it the last 4 months.. then i could get some photos of all 3 of them together and running.. i have another 17'' crt and mouse and plenty of keyboards so.. sounds like a plan.. and id love to be able to run both my systems on line at the same time.. use my kn8 as a multimedia/ slash / game server rig so..

looks like you got lucky and that cat bit into a live wire i sure wish all 7 cats around here was chewing on my main 12v wires all at the same time. and at that moment a lighting bolt of epic proportions hit the house at the same time while they are chewing on my wires.. id be sad my computer would more than likely blow up.. but..

id have less filth problems.. god knows cats have to be of the most nasty and smelly critters on earth.. and they love to climb or chew or claw or puke or piss or crap where ever and when ever they feel like it. and generally they have a bad attitude unless they want something.. gees like woman in many ways.. but ya.. id really hate to lose my rig

ezeht , yeah i keep my rigs on top of the desk all the time now. since they would be swimming in cat hair and dust!! so i been using home made filter for all of my intake fans. i buy the filter for window AC units. you can buy it at walmart real cheap. i make 2 of each filter for each fan. works out nicely.

and here is a after wash of the filter, i use warm water and hand soap works great. just shake them out real good and let air dry for a few days or till you change them again


it really helps to keep the big stuff out let me tell ya. also here is my room. it is small but but i have a lot of stuff in here. the pictures i have are old since i am down to 2 rigs running.

my work bench beside it holds my 32" tv which needs work. it does not turn on any more

my desk as you can see i have a small mouse pad lol

but this is a old pictures cause i now run a Razor Lachesis mouse which i am starting love and now i wish i would have gotten it over a yr ago so i would not have 2 dead logitech mouse laying here now like i do.

These are abit dated. Just a few months.

Those refurbs are a necessary evil. Have to do all that you can to keep those hardware funds coming in!

I was feeling bad when this one was made.

well this was my dual rig or desk set up. it will pretty much look the same.. only the mobos and some hardware has changed.. but the cases and psu's are the same and give each system its over all look..

i use my ocz 520w powerstream now for my kn8 and use the added sata and vga connectors.. so it looks even more cluttered than either my ai7 or ic7g.. but again. this is a general idea of what my set up looks like.. i will do new pictures when i can..

[ left ] ic7g- 2.8c- 1g ocz rev2 plats- ocz520w modstream- ati 9800pro xp120- audigy plat pro- logitech e5300 thx etc. [ right ] kn8- 4000+- ocz gxssli 600w- 2g ocz plats- 7800gtoc- ha ha a great mix of parts and many can mix or match across all of my systems..

and ive been using panty hose for filters.. the ac stuff is cool too tho..and they say used dryer sheets make great filters too.. i have to say maybe smoke is the largest villain. and its many types of smoke around here.. its sticky and leaves a film and is maybe worst than dirt or dust or atleast is a magnet for it.. if i could afford 1 and they was not so loud.id get a room air cleaner with a hepa filter.. but not 1 of them ion types like say the sharp.. they make the air electro static charged.. and thats not good for computer stuff..>
