Stands for titanium I believe. I can't say whether there's actually any titanium in the cards though. More than likely just a market gimmick. :D

According to "OverClock.net" (where the above quote came from) I tend to believe it as well :9:

Drats, the deal fell thru, someone else got the card before I had time to bid. Anyway, I was still in the zone when I saw a HD6990 on sale, I need to give the guy cash of about 160USD plus my HD6950 @6970 specs and I can have the card....worth the deal?

I don't know diddly squat about ATI cards. Can't help. I do very much love this EVGA GTX670, tho.

2) 970DE3/U3S3, Phenom II 955, 4Gb G Skill 1600, EVGA GTX 560Ti, 280Gb Seagate SATA II, crappy DVD drive (but it works, LOL) Win 7 Ult. 64 bit
3) AX78, Phenom 9600, 2Gb OZC PC6400, EVGA GTX 560Ti, CDRW/DVD, CM CP600PCAR 600W, Win 7 Ult. 64 bit

Not a prob, Chris, anyway, IF everything works out, I'll lay my mitts on the HD6990 4GB tomorrow night. Traded my HD6970 with some cash top-up, but I figured it'd be worth it. BTW, this is the previous gen top-end AMD card with dual GPUs, it's driver are optimized well enough that it tends to beat the GTX590 in benchmarks and games. Will be back with pics and whatnot in a day or two.

I'm very impressed with the HD6990 4gb, it can run Metro 2033 @1080P, max ingame, no PhysX, and still net more than 40fps average frame rate......somehwta better than a single HD7970. In UT3, which I had always believed I was CPU limited, I see higher average frame rate as compared to a single HD6970....so, I think this only shows that with a single HD6970, I was still a little gpu limited with UT3.

Back to topic, I hope that with the release of the GTX660 Ti, the price of the GTX670 drops somewhat, then I will grab another for some SLi action.

I waited until the EVGA GTX670 dropped from $599 to $399 then I jumped on it. I will only buy EVGA, after that disaster with a PNY card. For personal reasons, I only run Nvidia. It's a "me" thing. ;)

Dang, do you know that at 399USD, I can't get a GTX670 locally, it's more like >500USD for one. But, a HD7950 3GB can be had for about 330USD locally, brand new at that. I'm still keen on landing a GTX670, so I'll be scouring the Garage section of the local tech forums on the off chance a 2nd GTX670 be put on sale. Anyway, here's a pic of the HD6990 in my rig, note the dual GPU card is extra long, I'd to remove the middle portion of my detachable HDD bay to accommodate the card. Also note the lit up ROG logo in white, looks real cool! Yes, I can be superficial.... ;)

Holy crap, Dude, two 8 pin power connectors on that beast? Dang!

A 670 over there is $500USD? Wow. That's just nuts. Try E Bay or Amazon.
