The Title is not written in stone but "The Future Begins sounds GREAT too me, what's the hold up (last film 2009)

Why MONEY of course!! Chris Pine doesn't make much as far a A LIST stars go, 1.5 million a film, or less to bad

because he's one of the BEST young ACTORS going, as good as Johnny Deep in my BOOK!!

Oh, yeah. I want to see this on the big screen. Netflix hates me because I watch the first one about once a month. Chris Pine is one of my favorite actors. Also love him and Denzel in "Unstoppable" which I watch about once a month.

Might go and see Hunger Games today or tomorrow.

Netflix has dropped StarZ movies. This really sux. I mean really. Plus, for whatever reason, I can't watch any Star Trek movie. the series, fine. None of the movies, not one. And the "Contact Us" link is FUBAR with 6 different FAQ kinda stupid shit.

Oh, "Hunger Games". Too long and drawn out. Now I see why all the folks that read the novels hate the movie. It did make a lot of money, tho. Took my $8. Sorry, no $5 hot dog this time. $3 bottle of water is fine.

Wrath of the Titans 3D

Postby BlueMonster » Sat Mar 31, 2012 9:04 am

Thanks for the heads up about Hunger games Chris!!

I'll pass on it!! I want to see Wrath of the Titans 3D

About the film::

====================================================

Of any film that has had a sequel green lit the remake of Clash of the Titans would seem an odd choice. It wasn’t a runaway hit, making a good
but not great box office elevated artificially with 3D ticket prices, but there’s enough Greek mythology to make another film. Fashioned into
Wrath of the Titans, the film feels about as vapid and shallow as the remake and franchise starter did.

Perseus (Sam Worthington) is now a father and a widower, a hero having slain the Kraeken years ago, and is now called upon by his father Zeus
(Liam Neeson) to save the world again. Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Ares (Edgar Ramirez) are conspiring to free Kronos. People have stopped praying
to the Gods and with their power weakening it’s a deal to stay immortal. With Zeus trapped in the Greek version of hell, it’s up to Perseus and his
cousin and fellow half god (Toby Kebbell) alongside warrior queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike) to save the world from the evil about to be unleashed.

This isn’t a real deep film in terms of plot or character development, much like the first, and if anything it’s just a retread of the first with slightly
better CGI. Perseus is still torn between the world of the immortal gods and that of men; he’s still coming to grips with it as well as his status as
the badass hero who saved Greece already but it’s nothing we haven’t seen already. From the action sequences to the film’s finale there isn’t anything
that is all that surprising.

Sam Worthington sleep-walking through the lead role once again doesn’t help the film. Perseus isn’t a well written role nor is it one that requires him
to do much but be an action hero and it shows. This is just enough to not be embarrassing but not enough to give the film any depth. But that sort of
describes both films so far: shallow. This film much like Clash of the Titans wants to be an ancient Greek blockbuster and nothing more.

As such it’s an a/v spectacle but doesn’t have any heart behind it; it feels like a really expensive Iron Maiden video instead of a film. You could probably
dub over “Brave New World” onto the film and not really lose much in terms of story-telling or character depth. In terms of its visual stylings, though, the
film is fairly remarkable. The film is rumored to have cost over $150 million and it shows on screen. This is a film with some remarkable special effects and
Jonathan Liebesman shoots the film wonderfully.

The problem is that for all the effects in the film there’s nothing behind it. This is just Liebesman aping Michael Bay’s style, nothing more, and getting about
as much of a result as you can expect.

Director: Jonathan Liebesman
Notable Cast: Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Edgar Ramirez, Toby Kebbell, Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Danny Huston, John Bell
Writer(s): Dan Mazeau & David Leslie Johnson

Watched WAR OF THE WORLDS again..tonight

Yep seen it before, but you miss a lot, it seems if you see it only once. Of course I'm talking about the

one with Tom Cruise (usually I don't care for him, btw) and Directed by Stephen Spielberg. man it has

some awesome special FX!! Tim Robbins is in it also, Dakota (?) what's her face? Anyhow great flick

Comcast had it listed as a 4 star film. Very well done. I doubt we'll see a sequel though. It's a Classic

Orson Wells Radio broadcast originally, then they made another film, way back, now we have the new one,

which is old now, (2005) got all that?? :D

Dakota Fanning is her name. Yeah, that was a pretty good movie.

I've been on a Steven Seagal kick today, watched 4 of his movies. Wonder if he's actually that good at martial arts fighting.

I think I want to see the new Three Stooges movie.

The Raid: Redemption

Chris~

Somebody told me, don't recall whom, but...they said indeed Steven Seagal is in fact the real deal.

A bad ass you don't want to mess with for sure. Not a fake in other words. So is Chuck Norris whom

trained with Bruce Lee and was in a film or two with Lee. Now take Tom Crise for example, I doubt he

could fight his way outta a wet paper bag, LOL, he's only about 5' 5" A shrimp. If you watch his

films close you can tell, 99% of the time he stands on a Shoe-Box. Gotta give it too him though, he's hella fit!! ;)

I'll pass on the Three Stooges Movie, wait for it to hit TV. Which I think won't be long. :yahoo:

But who know's, maybe it's good, as a child I didn't care for them in B/W. :o

Blue

The Movie I want to see among others is

The Raid: Redemption

Storyline

In the Jakarta slums, a derelict apartment building has become a no-go area - even the
police are unwilling to enter. It has become a safe-house for the most dangerous killers
and gangsters. A SWAT team infiltrate the building, under the cover of darkness, to remove
its owner - a notorious drug lord named Tama. Written by Kad...

Now this film is NON STOP ACTION mixed with Martial Arts, what Bruce Lee would have loved!!
The Film gets very High Scores (might be subtitled) not sure

Image

Watch the vids and what not, it's crazy action, I know I'd love it!!
