Raid means::

Redundant

Array

of

Inexpensive

Drives :mrgreen:

Fast for loading and Desktop work, FAST for loading Games, other than that, not the big a deal

IMHO.

I do run Raid for main C drive with OS etc, and try to mount my games on my one terabyte drive....

You are both right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID

RAID (an acronym for redundant array of independent disks; originally redundant array of inexpensive disks[1][2]) is a storage technology that combines multiple disk drive components into a logical unit. Data is distributed across the drives in one of several ways called "RAID levels", depending on what level of redundancy and performance (via parallel communication) is required.

Never heard to RAID array, the way you two sate it

BUT IT's ALL GOOD

I think DM's is right , in that both are right, though in the early day of computing
