Blue, they (Steam) don't know how many member accounts were hacked or games or other info stolen. No CC info was lost per se, because Steam uses the same encryption method that the US Government uses. It's called AES256 encryption. With so many hundreds of thousands of Forum Members, even 1/2 of 1% is huge! Nothing bad on my end. I didn't realize how huge Steam/ Valve is. Over 35 MILLION customers.

Kind of a daunting task to keep track of all of that.
Erik, all Forums will have ass hats and fan boys. I'd say the moderators on the Steam Forums do a pretty good job, overall. I just ignore the jerks. Only reason I go there is for support for the games I have and to help others with games I have knowledge about. I've come close to a "time out" (warned by a mod by PM) a few times, losing my cool and replying to some idiot without thinking. It's fine. I actually have quite a few friends over there.
