Deus Ex: Human Revolution

This looks like a cool game and should be beautiful. Not sure if it has mp tho. Eidos makes some pretty games for sure. And deus ex was very popular in its day. I never had any of the games tho. I hate not being able to buy games. I survive..>

Eidos does do a good job with designing games. But I'm not paying $60. Also never played any of the series, may wait for a bundle on Steam and grab them all. ;)

Ya not many games are worth full price- this might be one of them tho- and best I read deus ex was very popular in its day- very very. Many still play it today- I think it had mp also.. Can not remember now..

I tell ya what Just Cause2 also by eidos is one of the most beautiful and best running games I have and its not short by any means. It is different and with the grapple etc and I am not really into 3rd view but jc2 mafia2 and dead space are of my fav games. 3rd view is my only complaints really or lack of mp or co op maybe.

JC2 or any game can be said repetitive but what game is not really? JC2 and its large world and from the ski to water to land is massive and gees it is lovely. If you can get it cheap it is well worth it. I do not say such things offten- but it is a game you should have- and your system and or vid card is better than mine is.

Man it is beautiful. Far more so than farcry and or fc2 even. Tons of cars trucks planes jets and boats choppers what ever to use- its the chit..

Hmm I think you said before you already have jc2- maybe you do not like it? If you do not have it you should get it. I enjoy just long chopper rides and low over the cities what ever or trying to get stashes up high etc and avoid a lot of battles- man it is a pretty game.. Sky diving and or base jumping is cool too.

My old vid card surprises me a lot of the time- But I guess I have become expert at tweaking my systems for game play too- Most all I know of such things came from my days at abit usa and from reading and tweaks guides and or mod ing games etc. I think in general gamers learn more faster than normal users when talking pc and or performance and building what ever. Abit usa was a great place for me to start out my life in the pc and or gaming world- ha ha tho many did not like me. I have good memories and some friends from its site and really learned a lot.. Im grateful for that.

And many was very helpful wolf and some others I can not remember all of the names now tho- but they could tell ya exact and fast how to fix your probs. But too- many might have hated it - I would type a lot and back story trying to explain my prob etc- if folks just read it they could help me fast and did at abit- It was a enthusiast site and real community in my opinion. MSI forums suck in comparison. MSI is a mod for mod site and they do not like others talking about anything period.

Guess I am learning and getting better with caps etc helps a lot too- but what can I say - I am under educated and I say what I think- folks hate me just for those reasons. I am getting better tho and even go back and delete out lots of stuff I say so maybe to have less probs. I am different from many and do not so much feel bad for it..

See ya..

Said pretty good has a 9 score. I dont know- some parts of the graphics looks great some look cheesy old school fear or something. Fear looked great for its time - do not get me wrong. The buildings and some of the armor looks suck imo- but again other parts of the game look sweet. Said voice overs are odd- and is 3rd person view [I can live with 3rd view- not my fav tho].

Guess me will have to get this someday- thinks me will try and get dead island before this tho. A 9.0 should be a great game :D :9:

Steam has this game Deus Ex: Human Revolution on sale this weekend, 10 bucks.

I watched a few vids and viewed image files of the game, IMO, the GFX look pretty

dated. But then if the game is really good, I can get over that. The PC version has

Quick Save/Load which is a HUGE plus. It has good reviews for the most part 7.5-8.5. ;) :good: or as Erik said. even an 9.

The AI is flawed, there is some clipping in some areas (of AI npc), stuff like that.

However for 10 bucks I highly recommend the game, it's an Action or Stealth RPG=3rd Person cover system, and FPS (goes back and forth)

shooter. 'Nuff said

The shooting etc., almost makes it look like FEAR. Oh and BTW the first FEAR game is still the

best in the series, 2 and 3, the quality and Quick Save/Load went bye bye. Which is not to say I didn't like FEAR2

I did, but it's no Original FEAR....sorry slipping off topic.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution!!

Sale ends Sun sometime I think 2.26.12

Ya 10 bucks I am tempted. I agree with most of what you said and I said long ago it looks like old world fear graphics. It is sad really- most games just out new for consoles are still dx9 games and some said dx10-11 games look like chit and some older dx9 games look and work better.

I just got up so I missed this before now 12:30 am. I could still get my bud to order it for me I have the cash. I am trying to save for a new vid card after the 760 comes out and hope it has a new game with it. I can not buy these 5-10 dollar games. This game you can attack it in different ways but is really meant to play sneak around in stealth all game. Boss fights are boring- other than some lighting fx it is a pretty old and ugly looking game.. Soon enough you can get the game and all dlc' with it for 15 bucks or so..

I want a nv 760 and staintsrow the 3rd and borderlands2 and bioshock infinite and farcry3.. All other games out now I can wait until they are all 10 bucks or so or maybe goty' etc for the same price.. This game is worth 10 bucks.. I have to hurt my self go with out until I can have what I want. The longer I wait the less everything cost.

Trade offs- ha ha :D ;)

Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution, 7.5-8.5 game

The game is full DX11, and has a plethora of vid setting. Very NICE game, you can play it several different ways,

I'm playing "Show me a Story" mode, in this mode, the game does pretty much all your upgrading for you and is not

(so far) hard with the hacking stuff. Deus Ex has always had a lot of hacking, Story mode gets rid of it pretty much (so far).

The GFX as in objects in the game world are excellent, however the characters animation is just so-so. In all it's very

pretty game. There's a lot of looting and scouting should you like that, as I do. You get XP points for all that stuff.

I got the game cuz I loved the original, I own DE2 as well, the weak link in the series, IMHO. The price I couldn't pass up, 10 bones!! :9:

Deus Ex 1 and 3 are the best. In DX you (after looting) drag your corpses out of the way, so the NPC don't see them (not to worry, they don't look that hard)

but they will notice dead bodies all over, so cleaning up your carnage is suggested. ;) The AI (npc) also have very good hearing, I spend a lot

of time crouching myself, the can hear your foot falls, and really hear you jumping around. Onw spots you and a few more will come that's a given.

For the money and just for the excellent work they did on the game, it's a 8 in my book. Oh and BTW it has Quick Save and Load!! F5 Quick save

F8 Quick load. It doesn't (the game) mention this but it's there and works GREAT!!
:yahoo: The color scheme is GOLD and BLACK, which gives

it a cool feel, it looks like a Blade Runner Universe to me :good: Which is a great thing. Many games have better GFX, but there's something

about Deus Ex: Human Revolution that makes it special, you can feel it  Ok some PIC's I took and will share::

This is in the beginning...

As with all Deus Ex games there is a ton of stuff to pick up, lockers to open etc.
Stack boxes to make stairs and so on.

WELL WORTH TEN RATASS BUCKS :Bananas:

Was talking about and almost broke down today to buy this. The only reason I think of getting it is a action rpg. Its world and game play does not look so great to me and folks give portal a 10 score or even like dukes last game- so who says they have any taste at all..

I will get the game when it come's with all dlc's for 15 bucks or under.. I can not let these low games nip at my lil cash- I have other things and games I am saving for. DX is worth 1 bucks to me with everything included.. It has only been out a few months and is 10 bucks already.. :D

Yeah, I don't get it with PORTAL either, I tried to get into the first one, no luck, to frustrating, do the same crap over and over and over. Pretty GFX is

it's only strong point, (I guess) I wouldn't pay 50 cents for Portal2, LOL!! :yahoo:

As far as Deus EX HR goes, I got into it pretty good. I don't play it to Stealthy though, I play it with GUNS blazing, after I know where all the bad guys are

Again for 10 bucks, you just can't go wrong. It's not a 9 or 10 title to me, 7-8.5 or 8 around there. Some that are really into the DX world just LOVE it,

so it all depends on what you like. DXHR at least doesn't force stealth play,it gives you many options. The Models are awesome but the enemy npc gfx are so so.

I went over all this though. It's just a good solid fun game, runs very SMOOTH!! Maxed out completely. My 550ti 2 GIG chews it up!! :club:

Going up a ladder...
