As you can tell reading the story itself, whomever edits the copy for the website must truly be a hick...but, to risk life and limb to delivery non-vital goods is sad.

My instinct tells me to get the hell away. Out here, the winds in the desert will blow a rig over, and they are not close to hurricane strength. These guys pull over and park and wait it out.

I guess, a load of wire, on a flatbed most likely, doesn't have much of a side profile. CHP out here puts up signs saying warnings to high profile rigs.

Is too big a risk to be driving against the hurriance. Imagine, tree, hosues & even boats could be blow over. Money can make next time but life there's only one

Btw hope you guys are fine, as i've see the news here, reporting quake at new york couple of day back and the hurricane hit
