When i try to install team fortress, i get the above error, any idea why? Couldn't be the steam server is busy cos i've been encountering it for the past 2-3 day

Because, Steam is having a big Summer Blowout sale. 50 to 75% off games. Everyone is buying a lot of stuff and their servers are overloaded. May be Monday they will be back to normal.
1)Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3, FX4100 Bulldozer, 8Gb G Skill Sniper 1866, EVGA GTX560Ti, 2x 500Gb SATA II, DVDRW, Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit RTM
2)stupid board died already *pfffftttt*
3) AX78, Phenom 9600, 2Gb OZC PC6400, EVGA 9800GTX, CDRW/DVD, CM CP600PCAR 600W, XP Pro Sp2

If you're not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room
