Abit IP35 PRO with Q9550 E0

Support for boards with an Intel chipset

Abit IP35 PRO with Q9550 E0

Postby kretzu77 » Wed Aug 18, 2010 9:41 am

Hello everybody.

I need a little help please. I put Q9550 E0 on my board and bios don't recognize it.
I have bios 17
I tried with a 9550 C1 and it's OK, but not with E0 :? (in bios appear Pentium III ...... etc)

Do you have a solution for me please?
It was a beta version (18b), but I don't find it.

Thanks in advance.

Did you check in our Downloads Section to see what the latest BIOS there is available? There are not many sites with Abit BIOS these days, unfortunatly. :(

There is also the chance that the chip simply will not work in the board. Do a Google search will tell you more.

P35 chipset works with Q9550 E0; I tried my E0 with a Asus P5K SE (same chipset) and worked very good.
The problem is with IP35 Pro bios.
I look for version 18 BETA (it was for a short time on Abit site long ago) and I can't find it anyware.

I really don't want to change my mobo

Unless the newer BIOS is in our downloads section, I'm not sure where else you can get it. Google didn't find any results when I did a search last night. Sorry.

wow i guess i should check the forum more often since this i may know. i still have the ip35pro mobo and i only used the bios 14 and i had the q9450 chip in it and it ran fine and i even had it over clock to 3.2ghz to boot. i know i had problems with the 16/17 bios so i never went back tot hem for the q9450 chip i had a e6850 chip in the mobo before which ran great.
