Time for a code scanner. A decent one is only about $100 at Kragens. That truck is OBDCII I think. Could be a bad door switch (I have to spray some LPS in the door switches on my Z every 6 months) And you're right, could be a bulb burned out in the dash and you are not seeing the light. But, most times, when you first turn the key, the system does a "bulb check" and illuminates all the warning lights.
This truck have any water damage? Could be a burned contact at a bulkhead connector. Found that once on a Lincoln Towncar. Fuel pump connector burned. After suffering thru replacing the in tank pump, still wouldn't start. The dealer wanted $800 to fix it, and they knew there was a Service Bulletin about the problem. A wire nut later the car ran fine. Just bypassed the bulkhead wiring. Amazing what those jackasses at a dealership get away with.
