CPU AMDX2 7850 black 69$ ********

CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 32$ after rebate **********

Antec Sonata III 500 Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, With 500W Power Supply 109$********

HD Western Digital Caviar SE WD3200AAJS 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" 49$********

Nvidia EVGA 896-P3-1255-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 160$ after rebate**********
or- EVGA 896-P3-1260-AR GeForce GTX 260 896MB 154 after rebate
or best deal EVGA 512-P3-N841-AR GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB 109--89$ after rebate or*********
ATI XFX HD-485X-YDDC Radeon HD 4850 XXX 512MB 256-bit 134-115 after rebate
I would think 4850 would play nost anything well. I use mostly Nvidia - I fold with them.

And what ever DVD burner you like 25$ on up

So for as cheap as 450-500$+ 100 for your OEM-OS if you need to buy one.
If you use on board sound.
or Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI 35$

Good luck with it
Life is too short to carry a cheap pocket knife.

I cannot believe the 22LCD is to be in on the price of the computer for $500.

If you know anyone that is in College with a .EDU address, you can pickup Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 for $60

I would not buy VISTA if someone else was even paying for it. Oddly it says $64.99 for Vista Ultimate Upgrade w/SP1 But cant this be used with any qualifying Microsoft OS as the upgrade from? Like WinME or Win98 - which does not really require online activation prior to the upgrade? And then you again upgrade from within Vista to clear that out?
