What is worse is that its a known fact that your mind can control your health. If someone tells you that you have a disease and that x people have died from in in the last few days, what does that do to you? It automatically decreases your expectations of recovery and increases your decent into a deteriorating health state.
Funny you mention that, because with all the reading about this the last few days, and the place I work I deal with a lot of Hispanic customers, as well as the fact I handle a lot of money (which is probably the most dirty commodity a person can handle) I started feeling like I was getting sick. By last night, I was almost convinced I had the flu. Then I had to step back and say, "hey, stupid, you aren't vomiting, you don't have the runs, you don't have a fever, get over yourself" Basically I was just tired, so I went back to sleep. I'm fine, just like you said, your mind can get a hold of the idea and run with it, if you let it.
103 deaths now in Mexico, 6 cases in Canada, the 8 in New York confirmed:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington ... clude=Juno but no new cases in the U.S. Yesterday, the U.S. declared a "nationwide public health emergency" so they could get the different government agencies going as a response team and release millions of anti virus shots from stockpiles of drugs.
I think I'll take a double shot of Nyquil and take a nap.
