if i eat at all on turkey day i will be happy.. which we have food so im all good.. i will not be cooking holiday foods this year me dont thinks.. but i will not totally starve either.. id be happy to go out and shoot a turkey or deer boar or any other good game food. tastes better too..

ha ha i got about 5 squirrels in my back yard. i always feed them animal crackers and such.. i could do the ole box lean and a stick on a string trap and have some squirrel.. just 1 of them has had a bad spot from a huge tic. but i think its getting cold enough to kill most parasites on the mammals etc..and if i get the lil invested fella. i can let him go.. ha ha we get a big ass hawk sitting out on the power lines or lines at the back of our yard.. these are normal lots not huge.. but that hawk is right cool looking.. hmm.. that hawk might get my holiday dinner. lol :D

i wish you all great holidays.. :D

ya.. you can puff up all you want lil buddy.. but.. if i think on it long enough and get hungry.. we will see if your lil ass can get out of a card board box. and before my 20 oz. straight claw carpenters hammer - zaps!! your ass. oh ya.. skin/gut/prep ya. soak ya in some vinegar water pepper salt maybe some liquid smoke and a lil Worcestershire for a day or 2.. time for the roasting of you and a some veges. and maybe a few more of your kin.. :D

guess if i was not so lowly and had a good woman. we could sing nice songs. and id maybe be in better spirits

well happy T-day yalls. i will be having some ham instead of the turkey. i prefer ham since it is not dry like turkey is. and you do not need to soak the turkey in butter just to get it moist enough to eat. even though i do love dressing that some good stuff there i tell ya. and punkin pie with whip cream is even better!!

I'm not a big turkey fan either although I like the legs/dark meat. You're right though, nothing worse than a dry turkey. My sister's always comes out great though, moist and melt in your mouth. No slab of butter required, all you need to do is throw it in one of those basting plastic bags. It comes out like a rotisserie chicken. Yummmmm ..... :) Unfortunately she moved to Maine and is having moose with cranberry sauce this year.
