I got the above exclamation on device manager. Fyi i install a creative blaster x-fi titanium sound card on the gigabyte mobo new rig and next i install the gigabyte & creative drivers CD but the exclamation mark still exits.

Next i uninstall it under device manager reboot & let win 7 detect it but still the same. Any idea PCI Simple communication controller is it referring to the sound card? And how do i get rid of this exclamation mark?

Ok, ignore the above, is resolved now, i left out a HEC driver, next i install it and the exclamation is gone
