Though i've did change the client (win 7) setting to domain and input the domain name of the server but it just wouldn't get detected in network, peer to peer networking and sharing is not an issue but domain is.

Btw i did add the computer (client, win 7) name to the domain. Do i need to change the IP to static instead of dhcp? Hmm what could i have gone wrong?

Hey boyblue, have done the step which you linked me earlier on. I guess it has to do with the IP and somehow i didn't set it properly or get it done wrongly
