Raid or clone

Which of the above would be your preference juz incase ur drive went bad? And state your reason pls. Guess most ppl wld opt for raid instead?

Two seperate things, really. I have a RAID 0 for speed, but I also have an external backup drive, which I do an "incremental" backup each week. So, I guess I should say both. Because I can clone my RAID drives to new ones if they fail.
