It might be a lil action but seems to be causing probs here.

Think about this- Is it not comical when an elitists bully snob red neck attacks folks calling them a inbreed red neck just because he can not type or speak well in text etc. They are the very thing they accuse you of being- They are bully red necks or from a far any way.. What can you do- do not go back or you are asking for trouble. They do not consider some may have learning disabilities or might be from a land not native to english- and might say on his avy he is from china or something. Them folks attack them anyway and even if later find out they are chinese or something will keep attacking them. You can not win with them folks on the net- you do not see them in person. They are not out but are on the net at home, and have all the guts in the world and mouth with it..

If you take a stand as a man and confront them - talk to them like they do you - you are ban. If you try to ignore them they just hunt ya down in every thread and ride and smart mouth ya and try and make ya fight so you are ban. It is best not to go back or just go back if you really need help for something and can not find it someplace else and take your chances. But then you wonder if folks said trying to help really are or are they trying to ruin your system?

Oh ya- Walls of text- I am dogged out for being a stupid inbreed and my walls of text. Or maybe I am not a liberal or something. Which that is right- I am from the south and stupid so I must be a inbreed and surely not a liberal- the elite. Oh I forgot- I must also be a racist.

Back story- c2 is being billed and sold as a dx11 game but does not even have dx10 or dx11 in the game- It dx10-11 is to be added later in a patch. It is running dx9

I posted the dx stuff in the c2 thread for gamerdude- I guess he does not know either. As for others I would not buy it for nothing or nothing else from crytek- If I ever play their games they will be free- or for me anyway..

This guy is a hoot- a regular. I am being nice- and will walk away from it.. Maybe fan boy fits best?

The graphics are surprisingly clear and functional even at higher settings on my little 5850.

Anyhow, a few basics.
The suit is now upgradeable, using alien components you find around you can actually increase, or change certain features/modes of the suit, this apparently is also true of multiplayer, (anyone that's played the demo should know that much) The world is persistent and at times almost stunning just to look at. The game does feel noticeably more linear than the original, while you aren't walking down one way corridors and you are left to decide how to handle each engagement. You do get a significantly more start to finish feel from how the game plays out.


This may upset some people, but for me it keeps you from wandering around just for the sake of it.

The storyline (at least as far as I am into it) has a feeling of building up to something epic. I can't really say a whole lot outside of that, weapons and their mods are fairly similiar to how it worked in the first game. (there is a basic weapon menu opened by pressing the appropriate key)

Having toyed with the settings I can tell you, you are really going to miss out with anything but dx11 graphics on this game. There is a noticeable amount of tesselation I can only assume the aliens are going to look like pinkish blobs without tesselation active. (they have a see thru property to them)

As for smoothness of play I've noticed no control problems and as I mentioned above performance is actually above what I expected to get with my mid range card.

That's about all I can say being only an hour or so into the game though.""
