oops sorry.. i forgot to resize my screen shots. i had to change from my new default broswer chrome back to ie6 for this site.. for some reason and only on this site if i use chrome and no matter if i resize my screens or not. using chrome my page view on this sites cut off my screens.. ie6 does not do it. nor if i use chrome on other sites does it happen..

but if using chrome on this site where our avy is on the right side- normally top. its like an invis line that runs down the page and cuts off my screen shots at that line.. if using ie6 the page reagranges the lil avy thingy on the page- maybe to the bottom. but never has that line that cuts off my screen shots..

again this only seems to happen on this site and if im using chrome browser.. its odd i know. its a pain for me tho.. i try to avoid ie6 now.. but another thing i notice about chrome is on some sites i have less options as far as right click on a photo and save it to my computer.. using chrome it is a lot of photos i cant save to my system- i have to change to ie6.. but i clear caches cookies and history multi times a day any way. so clean up after is not to bad..

i will edit my photos if it is any probs with chris etc. other than that i will leave them as is this time..

thanks..

hehehe..

Well, what I was trying originally was not a Video conversion, but outputting from one computer to another via the Dazzle by Pinnacle...the recording software included and WMM program both created fuzzle recording.

Gonna try that camstudio2 next. The Camtasia does a good job but 30fps is its max.

Thanks for the info.

Here is how one of the videos looks after PhotoBucket converted it to MP4:

again tho. you are using desk top recorders to record games.. record qaulity will be poor from the jump and uses way more resources than if using a game recorder to record games. and its best to play and record in full screen- window allways takes more resources too..

scavy uses fraps and wmm defaults and converts to wmv 9 mpeg if i remem right.. or get free xfire or free game cam- i never used game cam- id go with xfire-- it is easy to set up.. pick a start stop button-- make sure you know where files are saved too etc.. play your games as normal- hit the record button turn on/off recording..

when you stop playing your game close out to desk top- you will get a lil pop up window from xfire saying - do you want to upload to xfire site say yes- and wait a lil while- depends on how many vids you have- but- it will convert them to mp4- they are nice quality videos and very small size normally 20mbs smaller than avi v2 codec i use.. after all converted. you can delete it all off of xfire and in its default program folders you can move or delete- but what you move into another folder you can upload to youtube etc..

xfire is your best if going free and want to record games.. its just a few extra steps is all. but you will get best all around video- over using a dtop recorder for games.. a dtop recorder is more for making videos getting around in programs or set them up etc.. but even viewing text in dtop recordings can be like crap.. you have to lower your dtop res- so the text page and or text is extra large or you cant really read it clearly in the video etc.. dtop recorders are meant for slow simple stuff on your desk top.. game recorders are optimized to record games and better work with 2d 3d etc..

trust me.. if trying to go free- xfire is your bet- unless in some country that does not support it maybe- sorry for that- maybe you can try game cam instead- or buy fraps straight up.. or your videos will always be problems and or poor.. its just the way it is..

see ya :D :9:

if you use xfire - do not install its stupid tool bar- un check the add tool bar box and any other extra stuff during beginning of install.. if you install the extra stuff by mistake you can delete just the extra stuff from add remove programs etc. tool bar etc is separate from main xfire program..

that video does not look bad tho.. but you will get better videos using a game recorder- cleaner looking and smoother playing or play back etc. i seen the actual video. its quality is better than that photo i see in the page there..

your eye can not see more than 30fps- so 30fps is fine.. lower fps generally yield cleaner looking videos- in games with lots of fx like fog haze steam glow or even dust and debris etc..
