Though it went into power save mode, normally when i move the mouse and keyboard, it would come back to life but lately it has not been the case since i reinstall win 7, inregardless how i try moving the mouse or keyboard to the extend of hitting win key or with the combination of ctrl, alt and delete to bring up task manager, but it just wouldn't work. Till i press the power button of the case, then it would come back to life
The rig is MSI P35 Neo3, OS is running windows 7 home premium

Was going to say the same thing. And it depends a lot on how you have Windows set up to return from hybernate. Check in the Control Panel.
