Microsoft dumped me! No more MVP!

Postby Mr. Chris » Tue Mar 30, 2010 10:04 am

Not that it mattered much anyways, once Win 7 beta was done and I got a free copy of Ultimate. And last year, MS took away the "MS Bucks" which was $150 credit towards anything at the MS store. And my MVP lead, Jake Gray, won't even respond and tell me why. It's not like I do any less than I have, as far as helping folks on the different Forums. I liked my old MVP Lead better anyways, Brian Boston. Maybe I'll send him an e mail. I'm just curious as to why? So now I lose my Tech Net and MSDN subscriptions. *sigh*. :(

Got an e mail from my MVP Lead Monday, said I was not going to be renewed as an MVP this year. And, April is Thursday anyways. No big deal. Once they took away the MVP Bucks it was just a stupid certificate anyways. I have 3 of them on the wall. ;)

Yup, most of the benefit was taken away anyway. Though you are not renew this year, that doesn't mean you won't infuture. Lastly all the best to you and your involvement in Viaarena ;)

Thats a bugger Chris and its a strange feeling when one is dropped but life goes on. I lost mine a few years ago but like you have three certificates, in a box somewhere, yes some stuff is still not unpacked.
