Yesterday i encounter someone whose email keep on receiving the same email from her friend but then the person claim she didn't send her, it seem like the email just send it out automatically, not only that, ever since such happens, she was not able to receive other's sender email, other than the particular email

Also outlook express can't even open when being double click on and would need to restart then could open. What i did was do a recovery for her (sort of reinstall) as it comes with recovery option as it was a IBM thinkpad, prior to that i backup all her stuff as well as messages, address book from her email etc. Once i recover the OS, i restore back her stuff as well as messages, address book. Glad to say is the spasm email stop coming in, instead is the email which is suppose to come in judging the date from 15/2 till 25/2

Hmm back to my question, so what could be the cause of the issue? Any idea?

Sounds like a Trojan or a virus to me.

I second this Infected thought....but I also know that those that use Nortons get firewall and Outlook issues periodically.
