I loved my G5, but it's 2 years old and worse for the wear. Right click not working all the time, scroll wheel intermittent. So I got a new G500. Nice. Nice. Nice. Fits my hand perfect. Lots of buttons and change DPI on the fly. Love it!

I had to replace my mouse too. I have used a logitech trackball mouse for over ten years and replace it with another trackball. The one thing I hate doing is picking up a mouse and moving it around. That drives me nuts and the other thing I hate is double click.

I use a cheap Jasco (GE) 3button, scroll wheel, laser mouse RF....have had it a few years and love it, should have gotten 2.

My friend Adam swears by his Logitech trackball, I just can't get used to them. One thing over the years that I must have with any mouse is the back button. And this one has a small switch you can turn off the click on the scroll wheel. Plus, the onboard memory stores your gaming profiles, if you do that kind of thing. I prefer not to install the extra software, tho.

I just got a Logitech MX5500 KB and Mouse to replace an ailing arthritic mouse and a KB that saw a few too many drinks.

I'm still using my Microsoft / Razer Habu Laser Gaming Mouse Great Mouse!!

Blue LED of Course along with my Razer/ Microsoft Reclusa Gaming Keyboard.



On the FLY dpi all that 7 buttons I think, LOL!! I like the fact it comes with two Side Mounts for which side you want your side buttons on....

wow you got 2 yrs out of a mouse? dam you must not use it much or i use mine way to much !!! lol this razor of mine needs to be replaced !! hell the side buttons have some film on them from the factory. but last yr they are all worn off !!

so i guess i use mine more then most maybe they need me to test them to make sure they can handle someone that plays on the pc a lot !! i might have to take a few pic to show ya how worn out it looks right now ! rofl !! but yeah i am thinking of that 1 HJ got still i just wish best buy had them so i could test it out once again but they dont carry it any more

dam i hate moving !!

I hear you about moving and Mice wearing out, I'm usually good for a year, at best with any mouse made. Then I squeeze out as much more time as I can.

Back in the day when I was working full time, I'd change them out constantly. Times change though as you know, Scavy.

I loved it when I could buy anything I wanted, as brief as that was.

Having said that, my Razer Habu is still hanging in there. it isn't that old, I've had it about a year I suppose.

but yeah i hear ya there on when ya was able to work and was able to buy what ever and when ever you want. like when i 1st went to Intel it was the 1st and last major up grade i did with thinking of what it was going to cost me since i had money coming in all the time.

but now it is well how far can i go till i have no choice but to get it and if or when will it be on sale of what ever it is i am looking at to buy ya know. and now with this moving it adds even more stress that i have all ready have plenty surplus of !!!

but i just got a rental place so that this Monday i can start moving some of my stuff into it and get things rolling now and get it out of this SH!t WH0L3 i am in beside money pit that i dont have lol. it needs a new roof from the foundation UP!!!

and to top it all off my bank got sold ot so at the end of this month it will change hands i have to get all new checks and account with the new bank !!! just fraking great i get use to a bank that hasnt ripped me off and now i have to try and hope that this 1 wont rip me off like the 1st 1 i had that did !! dam i hate when it pours!!!

but since i have stopped paying on my house and plan on filling ch7 on this dump i got the MS x8 and i sure like but got to get use to it.

I've lost thousands of dollars over the years too. Crap I shold be looking pretty now, but nope. Worst than ever. All I really have are Great friends. Which is probably more important.

That does look like it has a learning curve. I don't care for Mice that need Batteries myself, but who cares? If you get this one, but a Rechargeer and 8 Batteries (rechargeable) as they will poop out in the middle of a Game.

Nice though, way to much $$$$$$$$$$ for a Damn Mouse though, 80 bucks!! My limit is like 50 for a mouse. Always buy wired Mice too, laser. You'll get used to it quick, no worries there.
