I hear ya- I am not one to force w7 on ya- I to prefer xp. I have got to liking w7 but like xp better. W7 is a better gamer and works on all my games works on most all games period.

As an os it is more glitchy and stupid than xp tho- extra ram helps it and the system as a whole.

Ya w8 will be out soon- I guess support for w7 will go on a few more years tho. I am in no hurry for w8 unless they give it to me for free upgrade. If can get a pre order deal for 50 bucks like I did for w7 I might try and get my bud to buy it- have to see.
