HJ's back! We missed you dude!

So have you tried these out yet? Not sure if I want to move up from the 185.xx's yet. Chris.

well i am testing these still. so far with cod4 and cod waw. with occlusion on it looks nasty to say the lest and no matter what the in game settings are set to either.

this is what i see and this is with the occlusion on

and this is with it off

but my vantage score is down about 1kor more there beside the other bench marks where down to. and the games i have ran ran ok but were all so on the low side of fps kind of to. but in FO3 this stuttering is real bad though not sure on how to get rid of it though. with out changing gfx drivers.

i know it is not the gfx card down clocking since i had a chat with Unwinder . he told me how to get precision tune to work so i can use it with FRAPS. cause before if i had both running every single game i have would crash as soon as it started.

so i did check to make sure the driver wasnt down clocking while i was playing, which it was not so that was not the problem and i did turn off occlusion to make sure that was not it either. all so i uninstalled that 3d stereo stuff as well since most say it run better with out it in any gfx driver that has it.

They told me at the Steam Forums and Frontlines Forums I need to get the latest drivers so maybe Frontlines would run better.

HAH! This driver won't even install. :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: Hangs at about 30% for 10 minutes, then it says "there was a problem and nothing was updated" or some shit like that.

I'm starting to wonder if the problem is with my Win 7 Ultimate install. With all those ActiveX errors, too. I'm downloading these, again, and I'll try installing them, again. :? Chris.

well i am now running the 190.56 driver right now and kind of like them so far. give them a sht if nothing else and from what i was told. they rn cod waw pretty good. which they do even with occlusion on my fps isnt that bad. and i can even play HAWXS as well and FO3 and a few other.

yesterday i installed underground and underground2 since my uncle was playing in on gamecube lol. but it made me want to play it once again. they dont play to bad on vista and i just wish i didnt have to start from the beginning either but i do. :(

but not sure of how to get it to unlock the fps so it will not stay @60 fps though in underground and so i can get my res as well. underground2 has my res and shows fps higher then 60 at least.

These drivers are screwed up. They refuse to even install. First, I get a message saying that I'm trying to run a 32 bit uninstaller on a 64 bit system. Uninstaller? Huh? Then, it says that I'm trying to install a 64 bit driver on an O/S that isn't 64 bit. :? :?: huh? again? Huh? WTF?

I/m really not amused with this crap right now. Maybe I'll see if the 190.56 Beta's will install. If they don't then I have an issue with Win 7. If they do then it's an Nvidia issue. Chris.

Hmmm. Was just reading the Topic about the 190.38's and how HJ had issues installing any of the 190.xx's until he totally cleaned out the remnants of the 185.xx drivers. Sorry, that's way too much overhead for this kid. This is all starting to remind me of the crap I used to go thru with ATI drivers years and years ago.

BTW, it does say I have a 64 bit O/S here, right?
