Uh, oh. me thinks HJ is talking to himself. At least he's not arguing and losing the argument. :o  :?

I will have to give these a try for Win 7, then maybe I'll go back to Vista since I've been running W7 for a while now. Thanks, HJ! great find! Chris.

Chris is a bit Wacky :P HJ does this because nobody here pays any attention to the work he does for us, I think.

I'm Thanking him NOW!! Thank You HJ for your work and effort, it to me it is the best. Non-Bios info you'll find on

the web, well the Best I've ever ran across. As you know HJ, I was running the Beta of this same Driver, but went

oh and here i thought you got the info from my thread in EVGA forum then rofl
http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100 ... #100651375
which you will see here in that thread i made right after i got the driver installed and notice about RT right away. i was amazed that he posted so quick on my topic since he is so busy from his statement and all. and that he told me when the next RT will be out that will work with this new 185 driver.

but as i stated in my Intel topic HJ i might give this driver 1 more try but i am still not so hot about it yet. since i am not the only 1 with problem with this new driver

well if your happy with it stay with what works. since this new driver is not all that great yet. as the 2 links i provided show. and thats only 2 mind you lol. but yeah some report good things as i did till the blue screens started to happen. which i think i may now have it figured out. but still i am going to wait for the next driver to come out beta or other wise.

I installed this one today because MS offered it as an Automatic Update but I'm gonna have to roll back. Precision Tool doesn't work. You can open the program and the on screen display says the fan is at 90% but I can't hear it. And the GPU temp says 60c, when I know it has to be higher than that because Folding is running. Oh well. Chris.

EDIT: my ears bust be plugged. It's working fine. :?

Well that's drivers for you. They will never work for everyone, and they will usually work for somebody.

The only game I've played on this driver so far is ET:QW and it runs great. I suppose I'll have to run a few other games to see what issues I get, if any. Chris.

I use the NV 185.85 WQHL Driver with EVGA Precision 1.7.1 and it works great.

That's the Newest Version of the EvGa Precision Tool AFAIK as well. Fan Ramps up perfect all that Jazz!! :yahoo:

Guess it depends on what? Then again, I ran Driver sweeper, and cleaned out all my NV files (old) before I installed

the new Driver. Did the same thing with my EvGa Precision Tool.

Just my 2.5 Cents worth
