I'm lucky the postman actually stuffed that CD into the mail box. Usually he just leaves a notice. Heaven Forbid he walks up the stairs and rings the door bell. Lazy ass white guy. Really is.

If you have a tracking number, you can call UPS and correct the address. UPS just leaves my stuff at the video store downstairs. Sharon's a nice lady, been on this route for 17 years now. But it's fine with me, sometimes she'll come up the stairs, most times she has boxes for the video store anyways.

Now that this Topic has been totally derailed several times, I'm wondering to move it to the General section. Nah, guess it's really not that big of a deal. ;)

Oops, Blue and I do tend to go all over the place, don't we? :oops:

Anyway, I was over all the Steam forum, a few member, myself included, got into it with this dude who acts like AMD owed him money or had slighted him in some way. He did go on and on about FX/Phenom II's being crap CPUs. I had offended him by saying how I liked the FX4100 when I had it, and that it was a fast CPU (especially when I'd OC'ed it to 4.2ghz). Called me an AMD lover (along with a few others who defended AMD CPU's)....why do some hate AMD so? I don't get it.....He didn't respond directly to my posts, I guess it was because I'd mentioned that I owned two Intel Extreme CPU's, and that the FX8120 build was so that I could try out the FX, and for something different. I mean, I can't be buying Intel CPU's all the way, can I? Where's the fun in that? That's one of the reasons why I've staunchly refused to buy an iPhone, it's so mundane, everyone, or just about, has one.....I want to be different. That's why I'm using a Galaxy ACE + Galaxy Tab7.7 for my communication and surfing on the go. iPhone 5? Nope, I'll be getting either a Galaxy NOTE or S III around Sept when my phone contract expires.

GD Hi~

Well with me I have but one system and working on another, that I may or may not keep. Anyhow it's all ready built or I would put an AMD chip in it.

It's a HP Pavilion p6724y and pretty damn fast too, it sports a E5700 Intel Pentium Dual Core cpu, a gig hdd space, 4 gig ram ddr3 it has Intel integrated GFX (gma x4500) for now.

It's a HP Pavilion as I said. Look here at Amazon :: http://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-p6724 ... B006KN7NGK (Best Link)

Here's a PIC of it::

Close up of case.

Image
The real deal-images by me&photobucket. This PC is about 600 bucks at BestBuy.

I'm using the monitor :D Love it!! 22.5" HP2311x, I'll use my Acer on it. 21" Nice Freaking Monitor as well. :mrgreen:

HP Pavilion P6724Y :: BestBuy (where it was bought) : http://reviews.bestbuy.com/3545/2404149 ... eviews.htm

Anyway I'm not sure how much I can upgrade it, or if I will, it's for testing and what not, like if I loose my Connection on

Big Blue do to re-building and so on. It's Snappy and Quiet as Hell, I swear you can't tell if it's on or not :good: Solid well built for a Proprietary Machine.

Won't take a AMD cpu so that's out. I really would put on in if I could!! :9: So NO I don't have anything against AMD used them for years with all my Abit Builds and some before and after.

My DFI Lan Party was a AMD Dual Core for example. KN9 or KN8 a bunch of them. In fact I'm new to the Intel World. So far I like what I see though ;)

Ity's mostly KIDS that are Fan-boys, or in-mature adults. Some just play, which is ok if you know the person well, if you don't and you (anyone) SLAM an others Machine

solely because it has different Hardware than our own. That's F#@KED UP!! In my BOOK!!

Blue

No new updates on my RX-1, it'll be here Tuesday or Wednesday, address I corrected, It's ALL GOOD!! :yahoo: Btw,

when you see PIC's of my HP on the web, and see like the Keyboard and Mouse in real life it's not the same. The Keyboard

and Mouse are total junk, keyboard was (is) busted when I got it, just crap, cheap as you can buy K&M. The rest is A-Okay!!

:band: Oh and yea I have a lot of Steam games not as much as Chris and Yourself (GD) about half what you have.

Chris if you want to play a Wonderful PC game that takes place in your home state, Arizona, why then PICK UP Alan Wake American Nightmare

I know you'll have fun with it, lots of check points, great gtx, AWESOME story, it's like being in an Episode of the old TWILIGHT ZOZE!!

and it's Easy, has tons of stuff on HUD to point you in correct direction (you can turn it off too, for hardcore, lets get Lost gamers).

Think TWILIGHT ZONE+ARIZONA+PC GAME and you got it!!

BTW I straightened out the UPS... :!:
==================================================

Attention my last images of new case are now in Open Discussion (that's what GD is referring too in below post) Thank-You :D

One word....NICE! :9: Don't forget to post pics of the side w/o panel with all your stuff installed, it does look big. My Level 10GT isn't small either, and like yours, can take on an eATX mobo with ease. Also, don't forget to bling bling it! ;)

I was not impressed with the 8150. I figured out, when I slapped my trusty 970 back in the other day, it had a bent pin. It's now back up and running great. Now I need to see if Armageddon will finally run. If not, it's the game, not the CPU, because now I have been thru three different CPU's. Damn, does this stuff ever stop? :shock:

Yep GD~

I'm looking at 200mm Blue LED fans (will light her up nicely) for it and found these::

Megaflow 200mm Blue LED CoolerMaster awesome fans, about 20 bucks a pop, with free shipping :mrgreen:

Link:: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835103073

Image provided by Planet Computer.

From what I read (5 EGGS) these fans are top notch and last a LONG time, as well they are Uber Bright. :D

Will fit in my NEW RX-1 Overseer Thermaltake full Tower case with no issues whatsoever. It comes with

three 200mm fans but two more and Holly Smokes!! May just get one see how I like it, plus lots of Bills this Month :banghead:

You gonna have 5 of those things in your case? It's gonna be a hovercraft, not a PC! :lol:

RX-1 air Cooling 200mm fan set-up...

Postby BlueMonster » Wed Jun 06, 2012 7:56 am

I might, probably will go with just 4 :D With the stock 3 that it comes with, it stays plenty cool though, so really I just want the

lighting, and well yea, the Extra Cooling is always a Smart move, IMHO. One thing for sue, these 200mm fans are Hella Quiet

I'm used to having 5X 80mm fans, which cool nicely as well, but Louder for sure. My RX-1 is very Quiet, the only fan I hear is

my gfx card running @85%, love my little 550ti too. :yahoo:

I'd thought of starting a new thread on this, but since this thread is primarily about GTX680, and to a lesser extend, the GTX670, I figured I might as well post it here. There's a new Dawn (remember her? That little pixie/fairy?) demo out for the GTX690, the humble GTX670/680 can run the demo, just turn off 'Ultra' mode and framerate would smoothen out a little. Here're a couple of shots from the demo, my GTX670 nets ~23fps, in non-Ultra mode :(

This one's especially for you Blue.... :twisted:
