Have you Tried these Drivers HJ??

OpenGlide is a Must have for older games and new, 3.0 support IMO,

is being prepped up for the Game, RAGE, which is from "id" Software (Carmack)

and John, loves using Open GL. All the Doom, Quake, etc., (games) from "id" are OpenGL,

OpenGl runs fast, it's a shame it's not used more IMHO. DOOM3 though upon release

If it makes you feel better HJ, I'll respond to one of your "unanswered posts" :P

This driver seems to be receiving mixed responses (as usual with NVIDIA drivers but more so with this one). Several people are getting 10FPS increases, while others are getting no boost and still others get issues starting the game.

new driver 180.60 and 180.70 not official driver in a way

It even apparently runs in my lowly 8600GTS :o - it runs the demo things that NVidia supply anyway...

Didn't improve my 3DMark06 Score though... in fact it dropped a bit with the PhysX sofware loaded :cry:

Not that I'm a gamer anyway... But I do like to 'optimise' my kit ...

Well, I'm already past the 90 day EVGA upgrade time limit (I think I got my GTX260 before you guys did) even so, I think I'd rather spend that cash on a few more games, because the card I have now will easily play any game I have (or want to get) IMHO, right now, any X2 card is bragging rights unless you have a huge wide screen, which I don't ...
