I need a little help please. I put Q9550 E0 on my board and bios don't recognize it.
I have bios 17
I tried with a 9550 C1 and it's OK, but not with E0 :? (in bios appear Pentium III ...... etc)

Do you have a solution for me please?
It was a beta version (18b), but I don't find it.

Hi guys, while I've been away some changes have come about on my system.
The major change is that my Intel Badaxe II mobo finally called it quits on me after 3 years of OCing it. (1½ weeks out of warranty!) :|
So I replace it with the best DDR2 mobo I could find on Newegg (choices are getting slim now for this tech) being an ASUS ...

well i got it in with the new bios #17 and so far so good at stock clocks.i tried to bring the volt on the cpu as my friend said he had it set to which was 1.38 volts. but he said he left the rest alone. so with the fsb set to 450 x 8 and ram 1:1.00

which would keep the 8gigs of ram from killing the system like it has done before. ...

I took a hiatus from all of this last Fall, as some of you know.
Never could could get an E8600 running on an IP35 PRO.
Well I found another IP35 PRO (a first run) and had a handful of BIOS chips so it appeared that it was time for further investigation.
In short.
Based on my experiences.

My EVGA 8800GT recently crapped out and I'm running on an old ATI All in wonder x600 Pro at the moment.

I don't do any gaming, but use Photoshop extensively.

Plus, as of this writing, my system color settings are out of whack. Gray is a light shade of purple and my photoshop ...

I thought I had bios version 14 on my IP35 Pro. Now I'm not so sure. What's the easiest way to verify my version?

not sure what to say or were to start. but i guess it started today right after i stop playing L4D. i end and went to the quit game and after it stayed at the screen for a bit i had some weird sounds and then poof this pops up

not sure why it did but it did. i ran vista mem test and did a chkdisk as well which all came threw good ...

I upgraded to a Q9650 from a E0 E8400. I had bios v14.

Everything seemed to go smooth, until I powered down. When I turn the PC on from a cold boot it wont post. It starts to but cuts out (like the power went out).
