When i start XAMPP and i choose to check MYSQL and let it run, i alway get the following error

mysqld.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

So far i'm only able to run apache but not MYSQL, any idea why? It alway crash and get the above prompt when i try to run MYSQL :oops:

Must i need to open port or port foward?? I did add the program and open a port in win xp firewall? Or i need to port forward in my router as well?

I open the port for mysql for xp firewall and router but still getting the same error and crashes, hmm what gives

Okie ignore the above, i've managed to get it fixed and MYSQL is running.
