The problem is I am not needing "FREE"

I have 2 computers needing a REINSTALL. I have Authenic CDKeys but need the same OS that the keys goto.
So, I need an UPGRADE XP HOME SP1 - as my OEM XP HOME SP1 does not work with this key. Keys are very specific to what they will work with. When doing Clean installs, you find that even an HP / Gateway box can be reinstalled without the carp using the retail copies.
The Key on the Side of the Computer allows the owner to own the COPY of ME CD, and the Key used on the Upgrade to KEY allows the owner to own a COPY of the Upgrade CD....But since people are generally not responsible, the computer shows up at my house, most of the time, with either no OS cd or 20,000 scratches making it unusable and needing to be reinstalled. This is one reason there is not Copy protection used on the CDs themselves.
So, me and the local shop just went around last weekend. They literally wanted me to bring the computers to them so they could "VERIFY" the CDKeys prior to selling me the copies of the CDs. What I also know is that they LOCKED OUT the last Key I took to them 2 years ago, but have no way to prove it. Just a phone call with Microsoft Tech support telling me that the Key had been turned in as unAuthentic / Pirated a few days prior.
Yeah I got 2 copies of PRO my self...SP1 and SP2

- 7 copies of 98

- 1 ME - Need a
VISTA Home Basis also
