Well I thought I had something here about Mass Effect 1 but it may have been under the Win 7 compatibility thingy.

I also loved ME1 played it thru twice. But the Direct 2 Drive version won't even start under Win 7 RC and the Steam version runs o.k. except for the damn missing lava textures. Dammit. Dammit. Dammit. Steam blames Bio Ware, EA and Win 7. Bio Ware blames Steam and Win 7. EA doesn't give a shit.

I'll try again when I install my free Win 7 Ultimate this weekend. Chris.

I think I'll join the Steam Forums just to bug them about adding the Pinnacle Station DLC. It adds 3 to 4 hours of more game play! 13 new missions at an orbiting space station that you can dock at. Sounds sweet.

I'm finally on Ilos. This is a long segment. Thank the Gods this game has Quick Save.! Chris.

Both Bio Ware and Steam issued patches yesterday, so last night I went to EA's site and got the Pinnacle Station DLC. It installed just fine. But, since I just started the Ilos mission, I'll have to go back to an earlier save game to try out this new content.

Man, I tell you, EA is seriously messed up. I thought I had my old account info straightened out, tried to log in last night to buy the DLC but it kept refusing my user name and/ or password. WTF? Can they make it any more difficult? I mean, I'm spending money here! So I had to set up a new account with my Gmail addy since they said the Net Zero addy was already in use. D' Oh! I know that! Oh, well. Life as we know it will continue. :P

I'll post some screenies later from Pinnacle Station! :geek: :ugeek: :9: Chris.
