Well, not sure if it's a Win 7 thing or not, but the missing lava textures are back in Mass Effect. And BDtS is supposedly already in the game that I downloaded from Steam. I filed a "ticket" with Steam yesterday so they should get back to me today. I still have other missions I can do, so I'm not stuck yet.

P.S.: I'm playing the "Bad Guy" as Shepard this time. Just kickin' ass and taking credits. No freebies. No good will bullshit. :butcher:   Chris.

Well, now, isn't this FUN! Steam blames Bio Ware. Bio Ware blames Steam. But both of them blame Windows 7! So it looks like this game is a no go for now. Maybe I'll try downloading it from Direct 2 Drive again. Or just say frak it for now. Chris.

Next on the list is "Prey" it has to be run in compatibility mode. But at least it does install, and it runs sweet in XP mode. Loving this game all over again! :ugeek: :9: Chris.

HAH! I fixed Mass Effect! W00t w00t w00t! :Bananas:  :clapping: :yahoo: Finally found a good link to download the Steam version of BDtS. Then pretty much by accident, found out how to register the Steam version of the game (once I found where the CD key was hiding) Got the key for BDtS, installed it, and There be lava in them thar valleys! Played for about 4 hours last night. Once you start playing it's hard to stop. Now, I can say that I'm ready for ME2! Chris.
