* ESRB: Mature

Techland product manager Pawel Kopinski discusses the story, characters, and gunfights in this Western-inspired sequel.

The original Call of Juarez was a gritty shooter inspired by classic Western action films. The sequel, Bound in Blood, will expand on the original game's story and characters by letting you play as one of two gunslinging brothers, brought together by family ties but torn apart by greed and ambition.

Well, well HJ myself WIzzy and a few others played the first Call of Juarez, and it was /is one of the BEST DX10

games I've seen, this new game, coming in 2 months, I think will be even better, AFAIK they reworked the Gun Shoot Out System,

for one, updated the Techland Engine again, so I expect a super game!! The first was Beautiful, OMG!!

If you got a Hanker'n fur a Western Shoot 'em Up game, look no further than "Call of Juarez", by far the BEST Western FPS ever made!!

Blue

Call of Juarez:Bound in Blood, is a MUST have PC game, IMO!! :yahoo: Yee Haa!!

Santa Got this for me!! I don't have it yet and it may just be a threat, LOL!! Or a cruel Joke, I traded my 8800GTS640 for a ATI 1900
for my old rig, well it's in the works my Friend Ken, doesn't even know if it's an AGP card or what. but he does know it's just a 256 mg card.
I'm not even sure he know if it's a 1900, but it has to be PIe for me to use so I can use it for my backup. 'm waiting to hear back. I'll just
run old games with it anyhow normally? Maybe? We'll see what happen when I find out about what he has, his PC is new a DELL, so I'd think
it must be a PCIe, but then again it may be PCIe but a ATI DELL card, who knows, if they make different ones for Dell?

Well that's quit enough back ground about the game and card, LOL!! :D

GameSpot gave it a 8.0, and has it's video review out, they seem to love it!! You play Ray and Billy before the first game, that the time frame, when they
were in their early Twenty's I'd say. The GFX look just as SWEET as the first game, even better from what I saw!!

GS VID review:: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/callo ... tch-review
I can't wait, hope it works out for me!! ;)

Image

PC version will be DX10, only drawback is no Quick saves but dude in the vid review said it has plenty and is not an Issue!!
I'll report on it if I get it!! I will, Ken just has to get off his Lazy ass and pull his ATI card out, the it's ON, Like Donkey Kong!!

My 8800GTS640 is still a great card!! Looks tiny nest to my GTX 275 FTW however!! :good:

Look what Santa got me, Retail Version GoGamer (I) PC 31 bucks!! http://www.gogamer.com/Call-of-Juarez-- ... ewprod.htm

Image

Running on WIN7 RC BTW, runs awesome at maxed settings!!

A joint effort of myself and a friends and his pc, I gave him my vid card 8800GTS640 he paid 1/2 for my game, and I got his ATI card,
well tomorrow I will have it, he's already has my card installed, his is a 256 card. So he wanted more poop for almost free, anyhow it
was not necessary of him to help with my game but, I paid 437 bucks for that card!! OUCH!! Back in the day!! :D So I didn't say no.
He's a Great Guy lives just a few blocks from me.

CALL OF JUAREZ: BOUND IN BLOOD!!

I already took a gang of shots, I had totally forgotten about the game, sorta. Did not expect it this fast. :!:

So here's a couple quick shots and I'm going back in. The game has Quick Save BTW!! + Check points so there's
no way you'll get frustrated, er unless it gets real hard, playing on normal, trying too, seems fine so far.
The GFX are off the HOOK sweet!! It runs on the Chrome 4 Engine. that's the engine they will be using for about
3 other up coming titles. The game uses the cover system which makes it more real some how, and the shoot out
mechanics are much better than the first, so are the GFX, very nice.

Btw if anyone is is interested, you DO NOT have to Register the game on line, only if

you plan on playing MP, even then you can register like you would with any online MP, game

User name pass word yada, yada, yada...when you want o play on line but not until then.

Long story Short the game asks you to Register however they don't explain to well why,

it's to PLAY MP game only, if all you play is the SP game such as myself probably, though

a Cowboy Shoot 'em Up MP game sounds pretty cool to me. SP = No Register MP= Register.

And there it is there, in a Nutshell. Save the Humor please. LOL!! :yahoo:  ;)

My, my HJ :?:

I don't know about lucky, I just used my card to get this game sorta, well 1/2 anyway. ;)

I love it too!! It's a lot different than the first one, I'll say that much, this new Chrome 4 Engine is Killer.

the Detail is Crazy nice, runs smooth as could be, I love the dialog too, same voice acting as the first AFAIK.

Played it for oh, 3 hours tonight so far, probably give it a rest. I didn't read the manual at all so I'm having

kinda a hard time in some areas. I'm not going to post any more shots though, as that would spoil it for you.

But here's just one shows the Detail work of this new Engine. Unless you guys want to see more of it otherwise

I'll not post any shots what so ever  Maybe? :tease:

It's a really great game that's all that needs to be said. I think I'll read up on how the Shoot out sytyem works.

I can do it ok, but if I read a bit about it, I'd do much better. Then again you can just not use it at all if you wish,

as long as you kill whom your supposed to. It all takes place during the Civil War. Which is done excellent.

The uniforms all look perfect and so on. You'll use a Gattling gun, and the Cannon more than in the first that's for sure,

the Horses are back, the lasso all that, and this time you get to through knives. In one area your in a corn field and you

have to crouch and stab your way through it. Your either with your brother or some Levels by your self. you can choose who

to play in some, some you play together, those are my favorite ones. Yon love landscapes and such so man you'll see a lot of that

it takes place all out side so far which I like. I play it pretty dark though as I do with all my games.

Well HJ , I know how much you liked the first one, so like I said, I won't go nutz with shots.

Image

There's one, and that's it, I'm back to playing or I may watch some Tube. My backs hurting and so on. :Arrgghh:

Boy WIN7 games well!! Hows Dark Sector coming? That game rulz as well. Well I hope you like it and you'll pick this one up

I'm sure, give it some time. You may like the first one better I don't know? Anyhow, That's it from me for now See ya all later!!

:clapping: :yahoo: :good:

Blue

I thought you'd be Happy for me, not upset. Hmmm. :bye: But I'm sure your just playing!!

Take Care all, and to all a Good Night. :D 31 bucks isn't much, compared to most new games.

Only this Game is Awesome. My share 15 or so, can't go wrong there and my Bud is very happy with his 8800GTS640 too.

We both came out great. I'm Blessed.

Look COJ: BIB is climbing the Charts. :D

Image

Image

Though I still think FO3 is the Best and FC2!! BIB is right up there but the game mechanics

are what folks have issues with, it's different.

If you were talking to me, what gave you the impression I was upset? I said you were lucky to have the game?

Enjoy, looks like a good one and don't be shy with the screenshots either as I would like to see them. It will be quite a while before I pick this one up as I have a number of great games on deck right now that I'm can't seem to find the time to get to.

It was the Bastard part, I didn't expect that from you. That's all HJ ;) Your not one to sling names like that. Or

I've never seen it, I guess that's it, just surprised me. I over think things from time to time to be Honest.

I'll post some more screens that's the fun I get from a new game besides playing it, I like to share about it.

But I'll Say in the title PIC inside just in case somebody wants to divert there eyes. My mission is not to spoil

games for others. It is to share. Yes the game will come down and BTW I got the Import Version, runs just like the US

version. But is cheaper always at GoGamer usually about ten bucks less. Just so folks know they are perfectly safe and the

exact same game, my copy of COD 5, is an Import as well. Work great as I already mentioned.

Blue

Peace... :9:

Expect that from me? It wasn't an insult Blue? I guess it must be some kind of east coast thing? I've never lived on another coast so I haven't a clue. I've said it to many a friend and have heard it said my many, and you don't say it to people you don't like, but the people you do like?? It's like saying you lucky SOB. As a matter of fact, I don't think I ever heard anyone use the expression meanly? One person survives a bus crash, all 35 other people die. You say the survivor was one lucky bastard or SOB. Again no offense was intended right? Well sorry if I offended you, it was meant in a good way.

I know HJ, I'm over sensitive probably too. My folks were School Teachers as you know and they frowned on
any name calling. Just the way I was brought up and certainly not your fault, ok. That and I had a Pony tail
until I was oh 28 years old so you know what they say? Guy with Pony tails are sensitive. Some shrink said that actually.

:D Blue

That's partially why I sign all my posts with what I'd like to be called. That and my MOM taught English and well back
in the day folks signed what they wrote. Proper English, Sentence structure, Yada, Yada, I never did get that "Dangling Participle"
stuff though, but have always found that it sounds funny if nothing else. :D

So did my parents and I had my mouth washed out with soap once or twice. I wouldn't call my Dad or Grandmother a lucky bastard in their presence when they were a live either. However, at work and between friends was another story. In those circumstances it wasn't name calling, it was a term of endearment. Well, now I know. Next time I'll know and just say you were one lucky fella. :9:
