Talk about gaming here

Well, it crashed again last night, but to be fair, I had been playing for about 4 hours straight. So it could have just been saying "hey, dude, it's time for a snack! or take a potty break!" ROFL.

Such an absorbing game. I search everywhere, and my pockets are full of $$$ and I can't carry any more stuff like drill fuel or Mg ammo. I like the Incindeary ammo for the shotgun, but it reloads so s.l.o.w.l.y :?

I upgrade the weapons as fast as I can, but you can only choose one upgrade at one upgrade machine, so you end up searching for another machine. Big Sisters don't fase me anymore. I have the upgrades for the Incinerate and the Deep Freeze. I guess with Deep Freeze 3 you can still search the bodies for loot, but as of now, the bodies just break apart. No loot. :( And it seems like Spider Splicers don't offer much loot, either. Still a long way to go! And I'm totally loving it. :9: :9: :9: :9: :9: :9:

i was reading- 2k is coming out with some bio2 dlc's soon- the first 1 will be for mp and later for sp.. i kind of wish i saved a lil longer and got bio2 before stalker cop.. i think bio2 will be the better and longer game.. my bud dan said the other day- when he gets his tax return- he will get me bioshock2.. i cant wait..

um i was also reading epic is coming out with a ut4 engine- but says no hardware to day or new next gen consoles can use it- its a cpu monster- but is still a few years out- and id guess will be tweaked and have a lil better performance by then- and or we have some monster hardware in our futures- or for them that can afford it anyway..

the cry engine 3 is looking sweet now tho- and they well sell or lease the rights to it.. seems cry3 engine is the next best thing in the near future maybe..

anyway.. if all goes well- i will have bioshock 2 in the near future.. then i will need to get borderlands and metro 2033 and wolfenstein and maybe a hl3 game if it ever comes out.. i might not ever be able to afford dlc's for these games.. but the stock games will keep me busy playing and recording for a long time..

have fun - see ya :D :9:

Erik, there is a ton of posts on the Steam Forum that the MP for Bioshock 2 is just broken, period. But I didn't buy the game for the MP. And, since GFWL says my game key code isn't valid, I couldn't play the MP anyways. But, yes, they say next week for a patch. So we'll see.

Yeah, it's been running fine for me this last week. abut 12 hours in so far, and not even close to the end. Very well done, just a beautiful game. The action can get really intense, when you are saving a Little Sister, battling her Big Daddy, all the Splicers are coming at you, the bots as well if you set off a security camera, and then a Big Sister comes after you. :o Gets really hectic at times!

As for the Plasmids, I usually end up using either Incinerate or Freeze on enemies, Telekenesis to grab stuff I can't reach. I love the spear gun because after you nail someone thru the head, you just walk up to them and get the spear back. Now I have the grenade launcher, wit the "mines", frag grenades and incindeary grenades. I can take down a Big Daddy real easy.

The under water world is bright and vibrant. I love how Delta can just walk around under water. I spend so much time exploring, I'm not sure but this game should last me another 5 or 6 hours. Great bang for the buck! :9:

Looks like you are just starting the game Blue by the looks of the screenshots.
This game is very long & is even better I think the second & third time played because
you get a better feel for the controls & how to use them better.
As I said, as soon as you get the camera (this takes pics [dead] or motion pictures on live subjects & you get it at Paupers Drop)
research everything that's alive so that they are easier to kill.
Start the motion camera before you start your battle & when they are killed you either get a new tonic or + Damage on them.
If you don't, they get to almost impossible to kill later on in the game! You can put 3 spears in them
or empty a clip in them & they will still be shooting back!
This makes protecting the little sisters extremely hard later on when they are collecting Atom!
I know because the first time I played the game I hardly used the camera at all.
(Btw, the rocket spears are hilarious!!!) :D You get the speargun at Siren Alley.
Also researching with the camera is the only way to get a lot of the tonics one of which expands your wallet to $800!

Before you buy ammo look all over the place as there's lots to be had! I've gone a very long time without buying any but the specialized ammo
that only can be bought or taken off of dead bodies.

I'm now playing the game again for the 5th time... :P

Yeah, Muff1n, the rocket spears are a hoot. Shoot one into a Splicer and they go flying! :P

I love the little flying bots, I hack them when I can, and now I have the upgrade so I can repair them, and they get names now. That's really funny. And the mini turrets rock! Set 3 of those up, and some tripwire spears or tripwire rivets, and protecting the Little Sisters is easy.

I beat Sinclare this morning finally, and am trying to get into the life boat. Oh, shit, this must be near the end because I have so many Alfa units and splicers attacking, it's epic hard! Can't wait to play thru again! :9:

Yep, Muff1n :D

I just started playing a bit ago, I got sucked into Dark Void, before that AVP3, Dark Void is HARD as HELL, in some areas, well most!! :banghead:

I'm saving Bio2 for when I'm ready, I had to Load it up though, I just LOVE the game!! As I mentioned IMHO, it's better than the first, just freaking AWESOME  :9:

I've had the FLU as well so that doesn't help!! Can't wait to get back too BIO2!! ;)

Dark Void is a LOT of fun, but hard as I said. Mostly the port job, the GFX are Sweet though. The game play is great, but no Quick Saves, and when you get into

a BOSS fight it's HELL on EARTH!! I had to replay one Boss Fight about 30 times to BEAT that Bastage!!

So yeah soon enough I'll be back to BIO2, loving my new HD Monitor as well!! Image :P

Finished it last night, I wouldn't say 12 hours is ripping thru it. But I could have goofed around some more. Just remember to search everything, ash trays, boxes, crates, everything.

Th end was kind of like "WTF?????" I saved all the Little Sisters first time thru. I think I'll harvest them the second time. ;)
