Turned down the overclock just a bit and the game played beautifully. It was a little short, but I very much enjoyed it. I would buy another sequel if it were available.

I had previously put Return to Castle Wolfenstein on top of my all time favorite games list, but I think Crysis and Crysis: Warhead have taken over that top spot.

Installed CRYSIS WARHEAD today!! Man is it pretty!! Just as hard on a system as the Original

Crysis game. Only this time around my GFX card and CPU are much better!! So it runs pretty damn smooth on Enthusiast settings and 1920X1080.

I have a couple shots but unless they are full size, well ya miss out on a ton of quality. I remember running CRYSIS with my GTX260, LOL!! It

played it ok for the most part though, untill I got to the end and the harry gfx scenes, then it bogged a bit, ok a fair amount

Warhead with my GTX460 1GIG card, and this Bomb ass QUAD CORE CPU, man it runs awesome. I guess if I enabled 16X AA that might slow it down.

At 1920X1080 you really don't need much AA, maybe 2X or 4X is fine, crank up the REST of the settings. I also run v-Sync, always do, I'm

spoiled, without v-Sync, all games have a degree of tearing. With it enabled, NO TEARING and it will keep your games in sync with your refresh rate

or try at least. I used to never use it, ever!! Now it's one of the first things I enable :D

I thought Warhead was MP only. I have Crysis on disk, it didn't work right tho. Couldn't get the suit to jump, so got stuck in the beginning of the game and just threw it on the shelf. Damn console ports. I hate them, I really do. Damnation was another one, so was Gears. Yeah, I'm an old fart. Can't get used to new fangled stuff. *sigh* Time to go work for an hour or two. :(

Chris~

All Crysis games have a wonderful Single Player Campaign :D Crysis, Crysis WarHead and Crysis2. The default SUIT key is "C" change if you

like of course. You'd Absolutely Adore Crysis with your GTX 470!! Butter Smooth!! Gears of War works awesome on the PC, IMHO. Love that game

as well. Damnation, well it's not just you, many folks said the Controls and general Game Play sucked!! ;)

CRYSIS WARHEAD >>> Single Player Campaign 9.0 Rated!! :9:

Gears of War >>>> Rated 9.0!! :9:

It's a shame, those 2 games, you never played, are known to be some of the Best. I know it's hard to teach us old Dogs new TRICKS, half the games I play

are older games, GOG games. However Crysis and Gears are not that hard, to play nor to LOVE :taunt:  So reach into the gut bucket and Get it ON!!  :good:
